The days went by with nothing but news about the sudden flop of Greg's arm candy's products.
They had been launched the weeks prior to the publicity stunt she'd pulled, Sephora could tell that it was going well because of the pity party she threw herself and the public.
Sadly, That didn't last long because everyone who bought the products had not very nice reviews to give, Sephora had absolutely nothing to do with this though.
"They are here ma'am"
Martha announced with a smile gracing her aging face.
"I'll have them send your dress here, no need asking, I know you'd never go with us"
Sephora commented with a light chuckle.
"Enjoy your time out ma'am"
Martha replied before shutting the door behind them, walking behind Sephora who nodded before walking into the lobby where she saw her car and the escorts all lined up.
An arrangement she didn't necessarily appreciate but it was a necessary step towards her safety and that of her children.
"Mommy"
She heard the excited voice of Berlin who had began calling her mommy ever since Candace explained the situation to her.
It had been an emotional moment for everyone because they all got to hear and see first hand what the little girl had been through from the mouth of the live in nanny they hired to care for her at Greg's house.
The nanny had come to Sephora because in her own words, she'd resigned with hopes that she could tell Sephora everything the little girl was going through except to her surprise, Sephora was already steps ahead.
Quickly she stepped into the car where she kissed both their heads, nodding when they wished her a good afternoon.
"You look so pretty mommy"
Ivy complemented while Berlin nodded her head rapidly to prove that she agreed with Ivy.
A gesture Sephora could swear was identical to Ivy when agreeing with something someone else said, but it wasn't just that, it was their facial expressions, their allergies, Their obsession with ice cream, it was a lot of things, things that made Sephora wish Berlin was her child, at least it would make them twin siblings.
wishful thinking Sephora concluded, Shaking her head before pulling out her iPad where she began signing off on some deals.
Her partnership with Aries had opened doors she didn't think was possible but here she was, walking paths she didn't see herself walking.
"We are here ma'am"
The driver announced, interrupting her train of thoughts.
"Thanks Domico"
Sephora replied, stepping out when the doors where opened and then turning over to help the kids down before covering them from the blinding flash of paparazzi and their cameras.
Finally they stepped into the store with Sephora nodding at the staff while her kids shyly waved hello to them.
After a couple pleasantries she requested for a personal shopper to help find dresses for the kids.
For some reason, Aries had thought it a good idea to have the guests attend the ball with their families, Kids inclusive and although Sephora could tell it was going to be a bad idea, she was the host's guest which meant that the least she could do was honour him.
"Do you have anything in mind ma'am?"
One of the attendants asked Sephora who quickly scanned the room with her eyes.
They were all very beautiful dresses but they weren't the one, she had a weird gift in knowing the perfect dress without even looking twice.
