CHAPTER 27

Aries finally made it to his wing where he had a long needed bath, changed into more comfortable clothes before picking up his laptop in hopes of answering some emails except he couldn't do that as a result of the sound of cars driving into the compound.

Usually he wouldn't care because There were times when Ella would come home with business partners but this was different.

Slowly he put down his laptop and went to the window where he saw the same convoy that dropped the kids off the last time.

Suddenly he lacked the interest to work because if by some miracle Sephora let the kids come back to the house then he intended to hang out with them for as much as possible.

Quickly he picked up his phone and rushed to the elevator where he clicked the last floor, he was so excited to see them again.

He realized that he didn't get to say goodbye earlier on because he suddenly couldn't face their mom.

Lucky for him, fate seemed to have given him the chance to hang out with them again.

In his excitement he began to plan all the places he would take them to after everyone must have gotten their much needed rest.

Looking at his watch, he realized that it was almost 3:AM Already, oh the tiredness they must be feeling.

Once the elevator landed, he came face to face with Ella who was beaming from ear to ear with excitement.

      "You didn't tell me the kids were coming back here, I honestly thought they'd be going back to the states"
He spoke to Ella who chuckled.

     "Oh, i bambini non sono gli unici che hanno deciso di rimanere in Sicilia per qualche altra settimana"

   (Translation : Oh the kids are not the only ones who decided to stay in Sicily for another few weeks)

Ella replied before placing her both hands on Aries shoulder in a bid to make him turn.

Nothing in the world and beyond could have prepared Aries for the sight that stood before him.

There she stood in all her stunning, elegant glory, the love of his life dressed in an overly big black sweatpant and sweatshirt, hair roughly packed in a bun, face as bare as the glorious skies.

     "Chiudi la bocca fratello, non vuoi che pensi che tu sia un creep"

    (Translation :Close your mouth brother, we don't want her thinking you are a creep)

Ella said before rushing over to pull Sephora in a tight hug before helping Martha with Ivy while August carried Berlin and then proceeded to lead them and a sleep walking Cara inside, intentionally excusing the love struck couple who seemed to be in their own world.

       "Uh- Hi"
      "Hey-"
They said at the same time, stopping to give the other a chance to speak except none of them wanted to.

Aries couldn't believe his eyes because if anyone ever told him that Sephora would step foot in his home, he would put a bullet in their heads before calling them liars.

     "Your home is exquisite"
Sephora complemented, looking around in the same awe that filled the kids eyes the first time they set foot there.

     "I'm glad you liked it"
Aries replied before gesturing inside.

     "Wine or coffee?"
Aries blurted out, watching as she smiled softly.

     "Wine please, something strong if you will, coffee at this odd hour will definitely keep me up"
She replied before sitting on the couch and putting down her things.
