In all her years of existing, Sephora could proudly say that she had arrived at a point in life where she didn't care about a lot of things.

She didn't care about people's opinions, their thoughts, unconcerned feelings and most importantly their unsolicited advices.

All of it, She taught herself to stop paying attention.

After everything she and the kids had been through she knew that a good vacation was needed, it's not like she could call what they had the last time a vacation, at least not with her constant absence from preplanned activities and the constant skipping of moments because business couldn't have found a better time to be good.

She knew they were dying to suggest another vacation hence the reason why she was even paying Ella any mind in the moment.

"Phera we both know that you will be too busy with work, the kids do not have school for the next few weeks and your leave will be starting in the new week.

Take this opportunity and explore the glamorous city of Sicily, enjoy the food, the wine, the scenery and most importantly the moments fiore"
She stopped before  going over to the couch where she spread out exhausted.

"I've never spoken this much in my life fiore"
Ella whined before turning to Sephora who softly nodded, Ella was probably the only person that would say a million things one second only to come the next second to swear that she'd never spoken that much in her life.

"Fine, Only condition is that You will be their baby sitter- "
She stopped when she saw the big smile on Ella's face.

     "Always"
Sephora finished with a smile of her own.

She didn't remember the last time she had a best friend if that was even something she'd ever had.

Yes she had close family friends, siblings if they could call themselves that, she had close acquaintances and all but she didn't think she'd ever had an Ella in her life.

       "Thank you mom"
The kids yelled before running off to their rooms to obviously pack while she turned back to finish replying some emails.

The next week was spent with the summit going non stop, the partnerships , the young minds she'd gotten to mingle with, she even managed to hang out with someone who had more makeup ideas than the money to execute those ideas.

In total, Sephora was more than happy to have been a part of the summit.

Then the day of the ball finally came.

Sephora had never been that nervous in her life yet she wasn't even sure why.

She had all these questions running through her mind, Was she ready to see him again? What was she supposed to say considering their last encounter? How was she supposed to finally tell him how sorry she was?

She wasn't even certain of the possibility of him speaking to her of all people.

A theory that was proven right when she saw her kids at the ball, looking ever so stunning yet there was no Aries in sight.

       "You look amazing Cara"
She complimented, Air kissing Cara who laughed before hugging Sephora who laughed, she didn't want to ruin the perfect glow the kid had going but Cara didn't seem to mind all that.

      "And you too"
Sephora exclaimed, bending a little before pulling the twins in a tight hug.

      "You all look stunning girls"
She exclaimed.

     "You too Fiore"
She heard Ella who smiled softly.

"I love what you did with them and yourself girl"
Sephora complimented before hugging Ella who laughed.
