CHAPTER 35

Finally their vacation drew to a close, Sephora felt a pang of sadness. She wasn't ready to leave the tranquility of Sicily, or the warmth of Aries' embrace. The thought of returning to their busy lives, separated by distance, filled her with anxiety.

Determined to cherish every moment with her children, Sephora suggested a special day out, just the three of them. She hoped to have a heartfelt conversation, to share her feelings and concerns about their future.

As they explored the local market, sampling sweet treats and laughing together, Sephora's heart swelled with love. She couldn't imagine living apart from her children, but she also couldn't bear the thought of being apart from Aries.

Over some snacks, Sephora took a deep breath and began to speak.

     "Kids, I need to talk to you about something important. You know how much I love Aries, and how happy he makes me?"

They nodded, their eyes curious.

"I don't think I should be having this conversation with you but I don't know who else to talk considering it also involves you.

Our vacation is over and honestly, I uh"
Sephora hesitated because she wasn't even sure of what she was about to say.

Cara, Ivy and Berlin on the other hand exchanged a knowing glance causing Sephora's heart skip a beat In Worry, did they know what she was about to say?

"Mom, we've been thinking..."
Cara  began, "we want to move to Italy."

Sephora's eyes widened in surprise. "What? Why?"

Cara spoke up again, her voice filled with excitement. "We want to give you a chance to start fresh, to be happy with Aries. We love him too, and we know how much he loves you."

The twins  nodded vigorously. "Yeah, and we can experience a new adventure together, as a family! Learn more Italian, make new friends, and explore this beautiful country."

Sephora's mind raced as she processed their words. Move to Italy? Start anew? It was a daunting prospect, but also a thrilling one. She had always been hesitant to uproot her children, a plan she had come up with after everything happened With Greg but she wasn't sure of how it would affect them but now they were offering her a chance to redefine their lives.

Unsure of what to say she smiled before  suggesting that they walk through the nearby park. The sun shone brightly overhead, casting a warm glow over their conversation.

      "Tell me more," Sephora said, her curiosity piqued. "What makes you think this is the right decision?"
She wanted, needed even to be sure that this wasn't just because of her and Aries.

Cara spoke up, her voice filled with  excitement.

      "We've seen how happy uncle Aries makes you, Mom. And we love spending time with him too. We think this could be an amazing opportunity for all of us."

  Ivy added, "And think about it, Mom – we could learn a new language, try new foods, and explore a new culture together. It would be an adventure!"
Trust Ivy to appreciate the idea of food before anything else.

Berlin chimed in, her eyes sparkling. "Yeah, and we could get a dog! An Italian greyhound, maybe?"

Her pronunciation so messed up that Sephora laughed, yet above that her heart filled with joy. She had never seen her children so united, so passionate about a decision.

As they strolled through the park, the scenery blurring into a colorful haze, Sephora knew that she had a decision to make. She could either hold onto her fears and doubts or take a leap of faith, embracing this new chapter in their lives.
