A couple of years down the line hadn't been most terrible.

If anything, Aries could agree that it seemed  bearable because in the end, he was a man who cared almost little to zero about the little intricacies of life.

He loved his mother and sister dearly, he made sure that they lacked absolutely nothing but that never meant that he wanted to see or be a full part of what they had going on.

It was also for this reason that he loved them even more because although they knew he was around, they understood the need to stick to their own ways while he did the very same for himself.

A pattern that worked really well for everyone in his life till the first time he met the stunning Sephora

She'd been sitting on those road side bus stations alone at an odd time in the night.

For the first time Aries found himself believing in fate and destinies because normally he would have never in clear consciousness taking that route home but for some odd reason his mind seemed to be hounding him in that regard.

It's not like he cared anyway, as long as he got home in the end he'd thought with a shrug before getting into the car.

Slowly he'd driven all the while nodding to the music that jammed in the radio, it was a soft jam, so good that when he turned to ask the driver who had sang the song he found him staring over at his side already except he hadn't been staring.

Curiosity couldn't have killed a bigger cat because immediately Aries turned to see what was so good that his driver slowed down for, He knew that he had found his one.

Immediately they'd stopped the car, A rather foolish move on their part but Aries knew he had to go closer.

Quickly he'd gone into the Box looking bus stop, crouched down a bit farther away because the stunning woman seemed to be laying on her side.

The situation by itself had to have been the weirdest thing Aries had seen in his entire existence, his security team even agreed with that considering the way they all Gathered around him in case it was a trap.

    "Miss?"
He'd called only to get a groan in response.

    "Miss?"
He'd tried again only to have her turn so quickly She fell off the bench before Aries could catch her.

Beautiful as a word did absolutely no justice to what lay before them on that faithful night.

  Beautiful and very drunk

Aries noted before tapping her again only to have her open her eyes.

Eyes that had tears already in them, lips pouted and hair scattered every which way.

   "Who are you?"
Aries whispered to himself before tucking her hair away with the head band on her wrists.

    "You are beautiful"
She whispered, staring in awe at Aries who for the first time in his entire existence found himself turning red from a complement.

"I'm such a bad wife and mom"
She whispered except Aries heard her loud and clear, instantly he felt his heart sink into his stomach.

Finally he had found a woman who piqued his interest but she was married with a kid or probably more?

     "That's Miss Sephora Sir"
His Assistant's assistant finally spoke.

The assistant had spent the last minutes trying to figure out where he'd seen the women who sat before them.

People like her never left unnoticed.

     "Miss Sephora?"
Aries replied in confusion, He'd said her name like Aries was supposed to know everything about her by heart.

If things were different, Aries would have never minded knowing everything about her by heart.

"We should take her home sir"
His assistant replied.

"In Matteo's absence I expect better approach to things"
Aries warned before turning to an almost Sleeping Sephora.

"I'm sorry sir, it's just that she contacted the organization to do a certain job some time ago, she was the one who called off last minute, the one you said you'd love to meet? "
Harry explained but had to continue when he saw the confusion In Aries eyes.

"I'll submit a full report when we get home, for now I've texted Martha who says its okay to bring her home, it would seem that there is trouble in paradise"
Harry explained again before getting a nod from Aries who turned to the beauty before him.

Would he be selfish for feeling slightly happy at the thought that her marriage could be falling apart?

It was an unfair and very cruel reason to feel happy because no one deserved to be in am unhappy marriage regardless of the reason.

He had seen first hand how that always starts and the danger of what the end could bring.

"I'm going to lift you up and take you to the car then drive you home, I know we are strangers but I hope you can trust that no harm will come to you"
Surprisingly she nodded and lifted her hands in a manner that indicated that she was ready to be lifted off the floor.

She was really drunk alright.

Slowly but surely, close to what Aries knew was probably around twenty minutes, They arrived at the place Aries could swear was the simplest home he'd ever seen in his life.

It was beautiful.

It seemed homely, comfortable yet Had the rich home vibe to it.

   "That's Martha"
Harry murmured, looking ahead while Aries glanced ahead for a skate before looking away not before Noticing the older woman looking around as though she couldn't afford to be caught outside by the hour that was upon them.

     "Thank you Harry"
She smiled before bowing towards Aries who nodded.

"You can hand him over now Sir"
The older woman smiled before stepping aside for the security who simply nodded before taking Sephora into his arms.

    "Thanks again"
The older woman replied before nodding and walking along.

"I expect to have everything there is on her by morning, the weight of the air she breathes, the total number of the strings of the hair  upon her head, her beauty Marks if any, tattoos, the number of the strikes that lines up each stretch mark, everything that makes her who she is, I WANT IT ALL"

Aries breathed in, exhaling like he had finally found the pillars of his existence.

    "Yes Sir"
Harry replied, trying his very best to keep the knowing smile that attempted to expose him at bay.

The night had gone by in a breeze seeing as Aries basically worked through it all.

The next morning, he quickly freshened up, had breakfast and even looked properly in the mirror.

All along he did nothing as regards his looks, not out of carelessness but his lack of interest in things that seemed rather vain.

Now that he had finally found reason, Aries could Careless about her married status.

Besides, If it was a rosey marriage, her husband would have been the woman taking her from his arms the night prior.

At least that way he would have gotten to see his competition.

Ignoring his wondering thoughts, Aries rushed to the waiting room where he found Harry already waiting.

  "Here it is Sir "
