CHAPTER 33

Although their moment together was something beautiful and had no reason to end, Sephora and Aries had to pull away because the doctor had to check on Aries.

Thankfully his wound was looking better than the last week, also, the doctor with the help of August helped him walk around till he was good on his own.

Aries on the other hand stood in his shower where he cleaned himself up and tied his towel round his waist and then walked into his now empty room where he carefully picked up a sweat shirt and sweat pant, wore it and then proceeded to his balcony where he saw The kids And Sephora playing by the pool.

For the first time in a long time, Aries could finally breath properly yet his heart didn't find the peace he thought it would when he finally got the opportunity to be with the love of his life.

"What do you want Matteo?"
Aries asked after noticing the presence of The groaning Matteo behind him.

"How did you even know it was me, I literally crawled in here boss"
Matteo whined before coming to stand beside Aries who chuckled lightly

"Try been in isolation for 100 days and see"
Was the only Reply Aries gave, it's not like he would tell them everything involved in staying isolated.

"I hear congratulations are in order?"
Matteo teased except Aries wasn't in the mood to share his excitement seeing as his heart was already heavy from all the weight it bore.

"I thought you'd be happy?"
Matteo inquired.

"I'd be happy if I knew how to tell her that she's the most unsafest she could ever imagine when she's with me"
Aries began, staring closely towards the pool area and wondering how he was going to go about it.

"I think you should have that conversation before you take things any further boss"
Matteo suggested while Aries nodded a reply.

He knew that already, he knew he was supposed to talk to her before they even kissed but he couldn't help himself.

"I'm Afraid Man"
Aries finally admitted, he knew that it could end before it even began but it was the wise and honest thing to do.

"I understand brother "
Matteo replied yet you could tell that his thoughts were no longer with Aries.

"How long before you man up and speak to Ella?"
Aries finally asked.

He knew that part of the reason he hadn't spoken to her was because he thought Aries would object except he knew that Ella shared his feelings even if she liked to pretend and act tough.

"As long as it took you to fight for your Queen, except it took a slice through the torso to make that happen"
Matteo replied with a light laughter before tapping Aries shoulder and then walking off, Leaving Aries to his thoughts.

Finally, Aries went to his room and laid back down, He would wait till she would come to check up on him then he would tell her everything she needed to know about him.

He had lived long enough to know that a relationship built on lies was a recipe for disaster.

Some hours later Aries found himself coming to when he felt the presence of Sephora coming into the room.

He made no efforts to live or even act like he was awake because he wanted to see what she'd do.

Finally she placed something down on the corner table before dusting her hands then spent few minutes simply staring at him.

If she hadn't taught himself the act of silence, Aries would have found himself laughing at the concentration she displayed.

"You should take a picture, it lasts more"
Aries teased, laughing when he saw the bright color that now coated her cheeks.
