CHAPTER 26

Aries simply stared with utter amusement yet he didn't allow his emotions get portrayed through his eyes or expression.

He liked the squirming and nervousness he brought to his prey.

In this case, he loved the way the ever confident Alberto seemed to be completely still and immovably Afraid.

"I-it's j-just that I uh kind of maybe hop-hoped that uhhh-"
Alberto tried again except he couldn't still get word out.

      "Father you said you had it covered, say something before we get kicked out"
Sheila supposedly whispered except Aries heard her just fine.

    "Well you see? All father I - sorry, We"
He gestured to himself and Sheila as though he was explaining something to some dumb kid.

    "We were hoping that uhh"
His hesitance now wore Aries out and In that very Instant Aries rose from his sit.

He was too exhausted for such show of weakness and shame.

If you are so desperate to offer up your daughter for sacrifice, at least be bold, if you wish to set the altar then you should at least set it right.

     "A Union between your sad excuse of a daughter and I is as impossible as the strength of your presence and supposed bravery"
With those simple words spoken, Aries walked away with Ella right by his side.

Once they were almost at the door, Ella stopped and turned.:

    "Consider yourselves blacklisted from all that concerns the All Father"
With that she continued walking by Aries side, shaking her head when she saw the smirk he was spotting.

Once they arrived at the front where his car was packed he got in only to have Ella climb in next to him.

      "You've been itching to blacklist them all year"
August said to Ella who chuckled softly.

          "You already know"
Ella replied before turning to face Aries.

        "I thought you wanted to stay behind?"
Aries asked Ella who pulled out some wipes from the front and started wiping her makeup.

         "I wanted to stick around for Seph and the kids but they left already so I might as well"
She replied before exhaling softly.

How she knew that they left already was a question Aries wasn't even going to bother asking.

"Alberto must be out of his mind though"
Ella began, folding her arms on her chest, something she did whenever she was stunned by something.

"If his daughter was the last woman on earth, I'd unalive myself before I even imagine engaging her in a conversation"
She finished, looking out the windows with a shake of her head.

"I'm leaving Alberto and his daughter to you August"
Aries began, staring at August who nodded his head in understanding.

"Such blatant disrespect and disregard for courtesy cannot be swept under the carpet"
Aries concluded before looking off to the side.

Finally they arrived the house, He was more than ready to retire for the day found Matteo standing at the side, obviously waiting for him.

      "Our guests have arrived boss"
Matteo informed, lips curved in a nice smirk, Aries whose eyes immediately sparkled in delight, eyes that were once ready to be shot instantly awokened in excitement.

       "Have fun boys"
Ella yelled before walking away with a loud laughter only to stop at the door.

     "I will be expecting some guests of my own brother"
She informed Aries who simply nodded, he trusted her because she had always made choices that she could account for.
