Ace walks back to the evidence room and we wait outside, "Hey you know Captain Thom, right? He needs some help filing in the bullpen" Ace says
"Okay" The officer says and walks out
Ace grabs the keys and we walk into the room, Nic stands guard while Nancy uses the key to unlock the door. We walk in and Nick shuts the door, we put gloves of and Nancy opens the fridge. She finds the vial, "This is Claire Barnett's poison" Nancy says
"The vial's full" I say
"How could Josh have gotten the poison from here?" Nick asks
"The seal on this vial is brand new. There's no way that it's from Liza's case 15 years ago. The original vial got swapped out for a decoy" Nancy says
"Nancy" Karen says
"Hey, Detective Hart" Ace says
"That's police evidence" Karen says
"This isn't Claire's poison" Nancy says
"What?" Nick asks
"You're trespassing and..." Karen says
"I saw your signature on the work order for the refrigerator repair. That's when I realized, it was you who swapped out the poisons. Because you don't have to take AP Chem to know that, in a glass container, the meniscus of a liquid containing poison like baneberry, curves downward, but this meniscus curves upward, because it's just water, right?" Nancy asks
Nancy opens it and goes to drink it, Karen grabs it and caps it, "You leave me no choice, I'm arresting you for breaking and entering and trespassing" Karen says
Nancy walks over to Captain Thom, "Don't let her do this. She's gonna get us out of here and destroy the vial and no one is going to know the truth. Karen gave the poison to Josh" Nancy says
I see her being put in handcuffs then I look at the vial, meniscus curves upward, "Yeah they will" I say
I open the vial and drink it, "Skylar!" Nancy yells
"Are you okay?" She asks worried
"You were right, it's just water" I say
Everyone looks at Karen, "It's over, Karen" Nancy says
Everyone but Karen, Nancy and I walk out, "I didn't kill Tiffany, Joshua did" Karen says
"You gave him the poison. That is accessory to murder, Karen" Nancy says
"Because I signed a work order form? That's your proof" Karen asks
"You confiscated all of the electronic from J. Dodd's, including Nick's tablet. You thought by doing so, you could get rid of this, but you forgot about the cloud" Nancy says
She grabs out her phone and show she video, "You didn't know there was a camera when you went to Joshua's last month. I'm not the only one who reads lips. Captain Thom just confirmed that this is what you said" Nancy says
"I gave you the poison for Ryan, not Tiffany. I'm going to have to fix this" I say
Nancy faces her, "I just want to know why" Nancy says
"I wanted to get justice for Lucy. She was my best friend. I spent years looking for answers, and then Joshua came back to town" Karen says
"Joshua had seen Lucy's old emails on the computer at J. Dodd's. He thought Ryan killed Lucy and so did you" Nancy says
"Ryan is untouchable. He's had people cleaning up his messes his entire life. And I know the system favors the privileged, but the Hudson family are on a whole other level" Karen says
