Night Time
Ace found out where the orphanage was and picked us up. We are driving through Stratemyer Woods and pull up to the orphanage. It's creepy as hell but we get out of the car and walk in, "Somebody worked hard to make sure this place got forgotten" Nancy says
We keep walking seeing the dining room fully set, "Looks like they left in a hurry" Nick says
"Looks like they straight up vanished" I say
"I'm getting serious Roanoke vibes" Ace says
"We should split up. We'll cover more ground" Nancy says
George, Ace and Bess go one way, and I go with Nancy and Nick. I follow Nancy and we start looking around, "No luck, ugh" Nancy says
"Yeah, nothing over here either" I say
Then the others walks in, "You're gonna want to see this" Bess says and hands something to Nancy
"We found it in one of the bedrooms" George says
I shine my flashlight on it and see it's a picture, "Hey, there's my good friend Mac" Nick says
"Yeah, and that's Rita" Bess says
"The ghost who tried to kill me during the nor'easter" George says
"I've seen all of these people before" Nancy says
I take a closer look, "Wait me too" I say
"There's Javier from Larkspur" Nancy says
"Autumn and Perry outside Claire's house" I say
"Rita at The Claw. They were all ghosts" Nancy says
"What day did Mac die on?" Ace asks
"July 17th, 1975" George says
"Check it out...Autumn Curtis, Perry Barber, Rita Howell, Javier Perez, and Mac, they all died on the same day" Ace says showing their obituaries
"What, all in freak accidents?" Nick asks
"Those were the people that called to the Aglaeca with Mac" George says
"Hey, what about, what about this guy huh?" Nick asks
"With the fox tattoo, ughh Aj" He says
"I don't think I've seen his ghost before" Nancy says
"Me either" I say
"I did find a registrar" Nancy says
She grabs it and starts to scan it, "Akira Jacob Nishiyama" Nancy says
"A.J." I whisper
"He was an orphan here, too" Nancy says
"Right, so were all the others" George says
"Can't find any obituary for AJ. Cause maybe he died in another country?" Ace asks
"Or they never found his body" Bess says
"Where'd you find that photograph?" Nancy asks
"Upstairs" Bess says
"Could've been Mac's room?" Nancy asks
"That's where he would've hid the 45 if he came back here" I say
"Yeah" Nancy says
We all head upstairs to the room and start searching every inch for the 45 when Nancy sees an air vent, "Hey, guys. There's a vent under there" She says
I help Nick and Ace move the bed then George uses her crowbar to take the grate off, "Hey, it's a perfect hiding place for a missing record" Bess says
George gets the grate off and we all bend down and gasp, not expecting what we just saw; human remains.
