A/N: So, this is being published a little later than I expected to be publishing it. I had some things happen in personal life that I had to take care of. I am sorry that it is late! Hope you enjoy this chapter! P.S. The picture above is what I imagined the planet looking like from out in space. I will post another picture in the story to show what it might look like from the ground on the planet looking towards the sky. ~Skylight1322

Update 4/7/25: I edited the grammatical errors that I just found in this chapter. I also updated spelling errors too. Nothing new story wise was added so feel free re-read if you want to, though it is not necessary to do so.

Harry's P.O.V.

We were in the pods, ready to head down to the surface of the new planet. I was super nervous, but also extremely excited. Nervous for what we might find there, and excited because I will finally have the chance to let out my creatures and roam around in them for a while.

Hey Cosmos, which ranking form do you think would best suit the traveling and exploring of this planet?

I would go for the mid size celestial fox form. We don't know what we will encounter and that size should allow us enough power to defend without causing a lot of irreversible damage to anything around us.

Okay sounds good to me. I'll split up saying that I am going to explore, and then transform into mid sized celestial fox. Then I will run around testing some of my powers, and continue to explore like I said I would.

Sounds good. Just stay focused at all times. You don't want to cause too much damage while fighting anything, or exploring. If you have anything you want to ask me about, just let me know Harry.

Will do. I'll ask if I need something!

And just like that the pod went zooming towards the surface of the planet. We passed through the medium thick atmosphere and about 2,000 feet from the ground came to a halt and the pod began to hover. Stair came out of the front part of the pod, and a mask symbol appeared above the door. We all put on out re-breather masks and, once the system scanned us for having the masks on, opened the doors to the pod. We cautiously stepped out and onto the ground that reminded me of sand near the ocean of Earth. Though the color of it wasn't even close to being correct. Instead of tan like the sand that I had seen once or twice while traveling on Earth before the end, it was a pale blue in color. This just makes me remember that there really is no Earth to go back to. But I could almost imagine this planet being somewhat of a secondary like Earth. Maybe if we put of some infrastructure and enclosed it in a space that allows oxygen to be allowed to flow without compromising the actual planets ecosystem and atmospheric make-up, then it would potentially be worth considering. But that would be a thoughtful subject for another day and another time. Right now I had to prioritize exploring alone.

I walked over to where Hulion was standing and asked him if I could go exploring on my own for a little bit. I had to promise to not put myself into too much danger, and to teleport back to him if anything happened that I couldn't handle by myself occurred. But eventually I was allowed to go off and explore by myself. Once I was out of ear, smell, and sight range of the group, I started to shift into my celestial fox form. After doing so I shook out my fur a little and took off in one direction that peeked my interest. A forest that was ahead, and seemed to have some form of a mysterious fog. I was too curious not to go and explore what was inside the forest, as well as thinking it would be a good spot for a little training in this form and size.

I was able to quickly arrive at my destination, and was quick to make sure my surroundings were clear of any dangers before slowly and cautiously heading into the misty tree line. The misty air felt thicker than it looked. but not so thick that you couldn't see ahead of you. It seemed to hug the branches of the trees more than the ground of the forest, so that made walking on the ground an easier task to complete. I kept my ears perked and alert, and my nose on high alert for any signs of dangers or foreign scents that could lead to danger. I continued to walk around, and soon enough I came into what seemed to be a clearing in the forest, though there was trees surrounding the clearing on all sides of it. I think this is the center of the forest, if I am to make a wild guess. I also think, it shouldn't have been this easy to gain this much ground this quickly and to reach the center in the time that I did. This thought made my senses go on high alert, just in case I was in any form of danger and didn't know it. After all it was a little too suspicious to arrive this quickly. You can never be too careful in these kind of situations.
