"NOOO" Octavia shouted as the trio watched Emori drop to her knees. Lincoln heaved forward but was knocked back by a Delfikru soldier and Bellamy only stared in shock. It was as if time slowed for Emori as she watched a group of soldiers bring out Cato and kneel him next to Bellamy. Cato all bruised and bloodied, looked up to see Emori and withered when he realized the scene before him, pure horror evident in his face.
Olina pulled Emori's head up by her hair causing the small brunette to yelp out in pain, and placed the tip of her dagger at her throat. "You do not grant anyone mercy, murderer. And now you will watch your friends die" Olina said and reached her hand to the front of Emori's wound where she pushed; causing the brunette girl to ground her teeth in agony trying to hold in her scream.
Olina pushed even harder causing Emori to finally scream in pain. The Queen of Delfikru brought her hand up streaking the black blood across her face, a sadistic smile spread on her face as she straightened up with one arm raised and the other holding onto Emori's head, her knife still protruding from Emori's stomach. Olina smiled at the circle of soldiers who began cheering for their queen and gave another nod to the warriors surrounding her prisoners, signaling them to start. Emori watched as they dragged Cato forward first and placed a sword at the back of his neck. "No, stop" Emori choked as she fought against Olina's grip but it was useless, the grip on her head only tightened in response.
The soldier brought the sword up and was about to bring it down when suddenly the cheering stopped and everyone froze. Olina's grip on Emori's head loosened as she was pushed hard to the side by none other than Onto, her dagger falling next to Emori. It seemed he still hadn't processed what he was doing as he stared wide-eyed at his mother's shocked and angry face. A few seconds of shocked silence passed before Onto's face contorted to one of determination, which only seemed to anger Olina
"You dare defy your Queen, your mother" Olina stated low enough for only Onto and Emori to hear. "Emori Kom Trikru has won her duel and for that, she will be granted any desire" Onto expressed loudly hoping to make his mother remember the rules of the clans and for everyone else to hear. Olina only glared at her son and motioned for two guards to hold him down. Onto grunted as he pushed against the guards landing a successful punch on one of them and kicking the other one hard on his leg, but two more guards joined in, one of them hitting Onto over the head with the hilt of his sword. Onto landed on the soft ground with a thud and the guards dragged him up and to the side, away from Olina and Emori.
"She is nothing but a coward and a murderer. She has not won a duel. Someone must die and if she will not fight then it shall be her blood spilled on our lands" Olina clamored out to the crowd gaining cries of encouragement from her people. The Queen of Delfikru smirked before turning back to Emori who was still on the ground hazy from the blood loss. She gripped Emori's shoulder and turned her over but stiffened and gasped out loud. Everyone also gasped as they watched the dagger Emori was now holding stabbed into Olina's chest right where her heart was. The Queen of Delfikru fell forward landing right next to Emori who was still holding the dagger as firmly as she could, both of them facing each other.
