"Relax Bellamy I'm fine" Emori muttered as he helped her into her room.
"Yeah, I know. I just want to help you" Bellamy muttered as he sat her down on the bed. Emori had been treated at the Med Bay for her shoulder and by some miracle it hadn't gotten infected or anything dangerous. She was stitched up and sent to rest in a room given to her by Kane. The person who tended to her wound was asked not to say anything about the color of her blood by Bellamy, who had made sure to not let everyone know about it.
"Still don't understand it, but thank you" the girl mumbled as she sat back on the bed wincing as her shoulder ached. Bellamy nodded and grabbed a chair from the corner of her room before setting it in front of her bed and sitting down.
"Now do you want to tell me what you meant by you have one week" Bellamy questioned Emori who sighed as she stared at the metal ceiling of the spaceship she was in. She didn't want to tell Bellamy because it was a time in her life she wanted to forget, a time where she had completely lost herself and gave into the pain she felt and the anger she carried.
Bellamy eyed her patiently as if waiting for her to spill but not wanting to pressure her. Emori glanced at his face and she knew he wasn't going to leave until she told him, so with a sigh she looked back at the ceiling and began to recount one of the things she regrets doing as the Warrior of Blood. "Delifkru is another clan. Part of the coalition" Emori started and cleared her throat as she thought back. "They are a bloodthirsty and merciless clan that bathe in the blood of their enemies. Trikru believed they were our worst enemies yet, and we were still at war with Azgeda when the coalition was being put in place. Lexa knew that we wouldn't survive a war with them but the King, Coln, did not want anything to do with the coalition" Emori said and Bellamy watched her carefully appraising her features and noticing the crease in her eyebrows and the distant look on her face. She was remembering it detail by detail and he wondered what she had done that could leave such a permanent stain in her life.
"So what happened? How did they join the coalition?" Bellamy asked.
"Lexa knew that in order to make them join the alliance without war was by removing Coln from leadership. Next in line was his sister Olina, and she believed in the coalition. She wanted the clans to work together, but her brother was stubborn and he wouldn't listen" Emori explained and Bellamy nodded along.
"So how did Trikru remove him from leadership," he asked again and Emori shook her head.
"Trikru didn't do anything. I did. I had just lost someone very dear to me and I was so consumed by rage and sadness that I didn't think. I knew that Trikru barely survived one of the battles against Azegeda, and Delfikru was a clan that knew how to fight, better than Azgeda, probably even better than Trikru. So I snuck in the camp and I killed Coln while he slept. Like a coward. I took the king's life" Emori spoke stoically. Bellamy could see that she felt remorse for what she did, but he wondered if maybe she wished she had done it differently instead of not at all.
