The next day Emori stared up at the image of her parents on the ceiling in thought. She knew today would be the day that Tristan and his warriors would fight the sky people. She knew that she needed to be there on the battlefield fighting for her people.

"I promise" Emori whispered and grabbed all of her things before exiting her hut. She made her way towards the horses where she knew Lexa would be. However, she was surprised to see that Lexa wasn't there at all, but instead, Heleria (Anya's new second) was. "I thought you were with Anya and Tristan" Emori spoke confused to see her there. "Tristan took over, so Anya sent me back here" Heleria simply stated and Emori nodded. She knew how Tristan could be and she knew that Anya did not want another one of her seconds to get hurt.

"You heading out there," Heleria asked as she watched Emori hop onto a horse. Emori nodded, "You know I fight for my people," she smiled, and Heleria nodded a small smile pulling at her lips. " Good luck".

"I don't need luck, Heleria. I need to fight" Emori smirked before getting on her horse and making her way towards the sky people camp.

...

By the time Emori reached the charred remains of the bridge, she could hear the screaming and sounds of gunshots echoing throughout the forest. She knew Trikru wouldn't stand a chance against the sky people unless they were taken by complete surprise, so she rounded around the bridge and took a short cut towards the side of the camp. She hopped off of her horse and ran the rest of the way towards the camp when she stopped behind a tree as she spotted the boy from a week ago tied up to a tree. He was bloody and beaten with a knife sticking out of his leg. Emori only eyed him as she walked away slowly making sure he didn't get out of the restraints.

Suddenly, there was a bright ball of fire that caught Emori's eyes. She looked up to see hundreds of balls of fire hurdling down towards her land, and Emori's glare hardened as she knew exactly what was in the ball of fire. More of the sky people.

Emori snapped her head in the direction of the mountains once she heard the loud whooping of the Reapers. "Shit" Emori mumbled as she turned back towards the direction of the camp and continued to run. She ran closer to the camp and watched as her people fought against the Reapers, their focus no longer on the sky people. Emori looked around in anger when she spotted Lincoln talking to the sky people. Emori didn't even think as she ran towards Lincoln and punched him straight in the face knocking him back. The sky people around him jumped back at her sudden appearance, but Emori wasn't done as she kneeled down and punched Lincoln again. "You betrayed our people, you betrayed me. And what? For her" Emori spoke in her native tongue as she pointed at the brunette who had an arrow in her leg and was trying to rush to Lincoln's aid. Her brother, however, was holding her back and eyeing the grounder before him with a glare.

"Em it's not-" Lincoln started in English, but Emori cut him off, "Don't you dare call me that. You are no friend of mine" she spat. Emori kicked Lincoln on his side earing a grunt from him and a yell from Octavia for her to stop. "I trusted you," Emori said and went to kick him again, but stopped as Lincoln raised a hand for her to stop. "Emori please," he said and looked up at her with pleading eyes. Emori felt her heart begin to ache as she watched the only family she had left staring at her the way most of the people she fought stared at her; in fear.
