A few days passed since Emori got back to Polis, and she's been going over plans to begin the fight against the sky people. Emori has shared these plans with Anya and has informed her what they would do to make sure they didn't lose any people during the war.
"I'm not worried about their weapons" Emori stated as she looked over the map of the sky people camp. She knew the weapons and technology that the Mountain Men have and it always made the fight against them hard, but from what she gathered they didn't have any. She saw a lot of makeshift knives and a hatchet that could mean they didn't have any guns. "Why," Anya asked as she continued to sharpen one of her knives. Emori smirked and placed another piece on the map that represented a soldier. "One of them had a gun. I saw it a few weeks back, but when I was in their camp they didn't have any other weapons except for knives" Emori explained and Anya stopped sharpening her knife and turned to her. "A gun like the Mountain Men," she asked and Emori nodded. "Are you sure it was only the one," she asked and Emori thought about the day of the puma attack. "I only saw one" she stated and Anya nodded. "We'll tread lightly, but maybe they only carry that one" she explained and Emori nodded. "Let's hope" Emori mumbled and eyes her map.

"Emori, Anya needs to see you right now," Cato said as he walked over to the Warrior of Blood, who was talking to one of the trainee soldiers. "okay. I'll be there in a while" Emori dismissed and tried to go back to talking to the trainee but was cut off by Cato. "It's important. She needs to see you right now" Cato announced and Emori turned to look at his worried gaze and posture. Emori nodded and excused herself fro the trainee before heading to the war tent, where she knew Anya would be. As soon as she stepped foot inside she saw Anya and Lincoln standing in front of each other in what looked like a heated argument. "What's going on," Emori asked confused by why Lincoln was at Polis right now.
"Why don't you let your friend tell you what he's planned" Anya seethed and walkaway from Lincoln in anger. "Lincoln what's going on," Emori asked and Lincoln sighed before turning to look at her. "The sky people want a meeting. They don't want to fight this war. They want to find a way to coexist without fighting" Lincoln explained and Emori shook her head in annoyance. "They want peace after everything they have done to our people" Emori questioned exasperatedly. "Em, they didn't know what they were coming down to" Lincoln tried to defend the sky people and Emori rolled her eyes. "No, they killed innocent people and then tortured you. Why are you on their sides" Emori asked and Lincoln only sighed as he turned to look at Anya who had a stoic look on her face. "Please Em. Just talk to their leader, Clarke. There are more like them coming down and we won't be able to fight them all. We need to come to an understanding. You don't have to promise peace" Lincoln begged and Emori turned to look at Anya who was giving her a knowing glance.
Emori sighed once more and nodded meekly at her best friend. She hoped she wasn't going to regret this. Lincoln smiled thankfully, "Thank you" Lincoln smiled once more but Emori shook her head. "I'm not making any promises Lincoln, but we'll talk, " Emori said and Lincoln nodded. "Tomorrow at dawn," Lincoln asked and Emori nodded. "One more thing. No weapons" Lincoln said and Emori scoffed before turning to look at Anya who had stood up in disbelief. "You can't expect me to just trust the sky people. They captured us and held us against our will" Emori said, and Lincoln sighed. "Please they promised they wouldn't bring any weapons and we should do the same" Lincoln tried to reason and Emori only sighed.
