As promised Emori fought and trained with the other Trikru soldiers. Many of the Sky people had surrounded the fighting warriors and watched in amazement as they fought strongly without giving up. If someone was knocked to the ground they would get back up and fight harder. Emori was helping a soldier with their footing when Indra came over to her and pulled her aside. "You promised a gold coin, Warrior of Blood" she stated sharply and Emori gave her a mild look, "Why? You want to fight me for it," she said. Indra rolled her eyes and walked away as Emori scoffed and walked into the center of where they were training. "Warriors. I promised a gold coin and a gold coin you shall have" Emori announced getting the attention of even the sky people who weren't watching them train. Emori grabbed her sword and took the coin out of her pocket before placing it on the ground. Kane and the rest of Skaikru watched in curiosity at Emori as she placed the coin down. "You know the rules. First to grab the coin wins" she smirked and readied her sword. At first, no one stepped up, but a few seconds passed before Michael stepped forward and began circling Emori. She smirked at him as she watched him continue to eye the coin, that was his first mistake.
Pay attention to the opponent. Since Michael was so distracted by the coin he didn't see her move forward and punch him in the throat knocking the wind out of him and making him choke. He fell on one knee wheezing for air as Emori kept her guard up, this was free terrain. Another warrior that Emori knew as Will stepped forward and swung his sword at Emori who quickly blocked his advance and kneed him in the side. Will grunted and moved forward again, and Michael took that as an opportunity to reach for the coin. Emori knew what they were doing and grabbed a knife from her side and threw it at the coin flicking it away from Michael's grasp. She turned back to Will and punched him in the cheek before kicking him away from her. Will landed on the ground with a thud as his head connected with something knocking him out cold. She turned back to Michael who was looking for where the coin had landed and hadn't seen Emori. She grabbed him into a chokehold and held him there until he passed out from lack of oxygen. She let him fall to the ground and then grabbed the coin from the ground and went back into the center. "You know the rules. Get the coin" she stated again and put the coin down in the center and waited. This time three warriors battle cried towards her and Emori's sword clang against theirs as she blocked all of their attacks.
She continued to block and fight to get a few punches in when somehow they had gotten the upper hand on her. Emori fell on her side as the boys looked around triumphantly and Emori knew they were going to lose. She kicked one of them in the legs bringing them down and punched him in the face twice knocking him out, by the time the other two knew what was happening Emori had already picked up her sword and swung at the two men who quickly blocked her hit. One of them grabbed onto her and she elbowed him in the face knocking him back and clearly breaking his nose. She blocked the other warriors' attack, and their swords connected and slid down as they moved closer. Emori pushed her head forward with all her might and hit him on his head knocking him back. She placed the sword at his neck stopping him from doing anything else and when she heard another battle cry coming towards her she grabbed another dagger from her side and threw it at him hitting him in the shoulder and making him land on the ground.
