The sun had begun to rise, and soon the walking group of Trikru and Skaikru were surrounded in morning light. Emori walked near the wagon as instructed by Lexa, who told her to keep watch of the Sky people. She could hear Clarke and Bellamy behind her talking, and as much as she didn't want to listen in, she had nothing else to do.
"You did the right thing," Bellamy said noticing Clarke's distanced look. Clarke didn't hesitate as she answered with a stoic expression, "Now I get to live with it." A moment of silence passed through the duo before Clarke spoke again. "You still think this truce is a bad idea don't you" she questioned trying to get away from the topic of Finn. "I think we're wasting our time with politics while our friends are in trouble" Bellamy stated in annoyance making sure to keep his watchful eye at all the grounders surrounding him, especially the dark haired warrior a few meters in front of them.
"We need their army to get to mount weather, and you know it" Clarke stated. "Their army has been getting their ass kicked by mount weather forever. What we need is an inside man. Someone to be our eyes and ears" Bellamy said as he finally states the plan he's been thinking about for days. Emori only rolled her eyes at what he said.
Please he has no idea what he's up against.
"Forget it. Its too dangerous" Clarke said as Emori mentally applauded the young blonde. The minute Bellamy set foot inside that Mountain he would be a dead man for sure. She heard Bellamy sigh in frustration, "Clarke if you can make it out I can make it in".
"I said no" Clarke stated louder and firmer not wanting to lose another one of her friends for stupid reasons. "Since I don't take orders from you I'm gonna need a better reason," Bellamy said and Emori took that as a chance to intervene. "Maybe because you'll die before you can even make it in," she said and slowed down to walk next to them. She watched as they both stiffened.
"Do you listen to people's conversations often" Bellamy questioned, after glancing at Clarke, annoyed that she was in their business. "Only when I'm bored," she said bluntly and turned to Clarke, "You're right not to let this one in there. We have tried every possible way to defeat the Mountain Men and getting in is nearly impossible. I'm still surprised you and Anya ever made it out" she said matter of factly. She then turned back to Bellamy her words still directed at Clarke, "But I mean two strong women compared to dumb male logic wins any day I guess," she said and watched as Bellamy glared at her.
This was usually what Emori did for fun, tease others until they hated her. People thought she was just naturally mean and blunt, but she did it to get a kick out of a situation. "Also not to ruin this lovely conversation, but did you ever think she doesn't want to lose youtoo" Emori questioned out loud and glanced at Bellamy who seemed now to understand why Clarke was refusing. "Now if you will. I would like to speak to Clarke alone" Emori said and waited patiently for Bellamy to leave. Bellamy turned to Clarke, who gave him a soft nod, and Bellamy did the same before slowing his pace as Emori went to walk next to Clarke.
