Bold = Trigedasleng

———
"My warriors. My Delfikru. I have found the true murderer of our King. For years we have all mourned the death of my brother and hoped for the day in which we would avenge his fall" Olina spoke confidently in Trigedasleng, her gaze trained on the large group of Delfikru soldiers that had gathered around her. Lincoln translated to Bellamy and Octavia, who were staring warily at the grounders surrounding them. Their cheering and shouts echoed through the forests around them as Olina stared at her people with a smug look.

"—Today is that day. Today we avenge our fallen King. For I have brought his murderer to our camp. To be judged by you all.  So that justice may be served" she raised a fist in the air as the cheering of her soldiers increased. Laughter followed their shouts as they all watched each of Emori's friends be pushed down to the ground and onto their knees. Emori was the only one left standing and forcibly shoved into the center of the massive circle of Delfikru warriors and their shouts of excitement.

She stumbled as she was pushed but managed to keep herself upright and turned to look at Olina with the same stoic expression she had earlier in the cave. Olina only smirked at the young brunette's bravery and then brought her arm back down, which made her people begin quieting down.

Once the shouts died down, Olina took a step forward. "Warrior of Blood. Traitor of the 12 Clans. You are here to be judged. How do you plead?" Olina stated mockingly, knowing very well that no matter what Emori will say it will still end with her being tortured. This trial was more for their pleasure than to find anyone innocent or guilty. To Delfikru, Emori was already guilty.

Emori stayed silent as she watched Olina carefully and then her eyes went to Cato, who was looking up at her shaking his head. He knew that the only way for her to survive was to dual and she could tell he was pleading for her to do just that. To fight her way out once more.

"I am guilty, but —" Emori couldn't finish as Delfikru begin shouting again.

"Justice for our king"

"Kill that Trikru traitor"

"SILENCE" Olina shouted, shutting every soldier up and turning back to Emori curious to hear what she had to say.

"But they are not. You can have me, just let them go" she finalized. Olina smirked as she watched Emori. She could tell these people meant a lot to her, and she knew that was the best way to torture Emori.

"Funny. My brother was murdered simply for not following in the coalition. I already made my peace with Trikru, but I don't negotiate with traitors" Olina stated coldly in English so that the Skaikru members could understand and Emori felt her chest ache.

"Emori Kom Trikru. You are found guilty of the murder of our King and for that, you will pay every day. Your punishment is to be kept on the podium suffering for every day that we've gone without our King. My people are to do as they please with you" Olina stated and the cheering commenced once again.

Emori only dropped her head knowing her punishment wouldn't be quick and easy. She knew this would happen and she knew she would deal with it when it came.

Olina stepped closer and closer to Emori and lifted her head with her finger. "As for your friends, you will watch them all die" she smirked and then nodded to the two guards behind Bellamy who picked him from the ground and started to drag him to the center of the circle.

"What. No wait —" Emori yelled as she pushed Olina back and tried making her way to Bellamy who was fighting against the guards holding him. She didn't get anywhere near him as she was yanked back hard by her hair. She looked up to see Olina smiling down at her and then two guards came to grab her as well, but Emori wasn't done fighting. Once she was lifted from the ground she quickly loosened the hold one of the guards had on her and kicked him hard in the knee making him fall to the ground in pain, but when she tried attacking the other soldier she was pulled back yet again by Olina who had a dagger now pressed to her throat.

"There's the warrior of blood I remember from the arena. Merciless, a trained killer. I thought you were gone" she muttered as she pressed her lips to Emori's cheek and inhaled slowly.

Emori stood still as she watched the other soldiers push Bellamy to the ground a sword already pointed at his neck. "I guess he means something to you. Good. You'll get to watch him die first. Just like Freya" Olina continued, which only angered Emori more. Who reeled her head back with so much force it knocked Olina away from her, the knife only slightly cutting Emori as she broke free from her grasp and the soldiers, but before she could even get her second attack in, Emori was punched hard in the face. She was knocked back down onto the ground with so much force that her vision blurred slightly, but she knew who had joined the fight and grunted out in pain.

Onto had joined the group and he watched as Emori gasped out for breath on the ground and only chuckled at her state. This made the cheering of the Delfikru soldiers louder, which also made Onto feel even smugger as he turned to his people raising a fist into the air, just like his mother had done earlier.

Emori lay on the ground trying to regain any form of strength and as she lay there she began to realize that she was just lured to their camp by lies. She was willing to give everything up if it meant only she would be hurt in the process, but not them. Not her friends. They've sided with her and she's seen just how much they care about her. Her selfishness and fear of continuing to be a killer had nothing to do with them. She couldn't let them die because of her.

And as she realized all of this, the words she once learned from Freya came flooding back to her.

"Love is power. If you love me and I love you we can be invincible. We have each other"

And there it was. The strength she had been searching for was with her all along. Her friends... her people. Emori slowly stood up and as she began moving to get to her feet the cheering of the soldiers died down and focused on her. Onto furrowed his brows as he turned around to see Emori standing up. Olina looked at Emori waiting for her next move.

Onto grunted out in anger and as he tried to move towards Emori to finish her, Olina placed a hand on his arm signaling him to stop. Onto only looked at her with furrowed brows before turning back to Emori who was standing tall, her eyes trained on Olina. Her face held a stone-old expression as she uttered the phrase that could possibly save them all.

"I challenge your best fighter to a dual" Emori said as whispers erupted amongst the Delfikru warriors surrounding them. Some looked annoyed and others seemed eager to watch their best warrior beat Emori. "Winner decides the real end to this trial" Emori finalized and Olina smirked.

This was what she wanted all along. She needed the warrior of blood's power to belong to her clan, and the only way to do that was to have Onto fight Emori and kill her. For her son to take her Warrior of Blood status and become the next merciless killer of the 12 clans and gain higher status with Lexa.

"Your dual is accepted"
