Oh my god! First, I just want to say THANK YOU so much for 20k reads and 1k votes! When I first started this story, I didn't know where I would end up, but I'm so glad it reached the right crowd. I really love reading everyone's comments and suggestions on each chapter, so keep it up; it really does motivate me to update. Thank you all again!

"Sage honey! Come on we need to leave" I yelled waiting for her to come running down the hallway. We were headed to the hospital for the test today and Joe and I were both anxious. I helped Sage into the car and sat in the passenger seat.

When we arrived, we entered through the basement of the hospital, getting escorted into a private room. Sage didn't really know what was going on, but I was thankful that the nurses were trying their best to entertain her.

"I wanna stay with Mommy" She says looking up at me. Joe was going to watch Sage in the waiting room while I finished and she wasn't having any of it. She was afraid this was all a trick and that she was going to get a shot, but I constantly reminded her that this wasn't the case.

"Be a good girl baby, I'll be back" I tell her giving her a hug and kiss Joe as I met the doctor in the room.

When I was done, it was Joe's turn and I watched Sage which she was very happy about. The doctor and I talked about my health while I was touring and so far, no harm towards the baby which I was grateful for. Aside from the extreme exhaustion, it is normal and should be getting better soon after I go on break.

I was happy that Sage was entertained with watching cartoons on the T.V. since I was deep in my thoughts. It felt like ages waiting for Joe. When I looked at the time, only ten minutes went by making me sigh.

"Mommy, can I have a snack?" Sage asks walking over to me. I rummaged through my purse and pulled out one of her apple sauce pouches. She climbed into my lap and happily sipped on it.

"Daddy!" She pointed and Joe walked out. He walked over to us and gave me a kiss on the head while he picked Sage up in his arms.

"Okay, I'm done. We should know the results either while we're in Singapore or when we get back" He informs me. I nodded my head and gathered my things and Sage's hoodie and thanked the nurses as we walked back to the car.

"I didn't get a shot" Sage says as we drive out of the basement. Joe chuckles, looking back at her.

"You didn't boo! You did a good job being patient while waiting for us" Joe tells her making her smile, proud of herself.

When we arrived back at the house, it was already noon and I was preparing our lunch while Joe was playing in the backyard with Sage. I began to plate up Sage's portion first because I wanted it to cool down faster and then continued onto Joe and I's plate. I also had chocolate chip cookie dough in the freezer for later as a surprise for Sage.

I called them inside from the back door and watched as Joe raced Sage in, leaving Sage far behind making her stomp her feet as she stepped foot in the house.

"Not funny!" She exclaimed, crossing her arms and huffing at her Father. I laughed at her cuteness and kisses her cheeks, putting her sweaty hair into a ponytail.

As we all sat around the table, I watched closely as Sage ate as she picked at her little bits of cut up steak. She devoured her mashed potatoes that were basically drowning in gravy and she stared at her steak unamused.

"Sage, don't play with your food please" Joe tells her and she lets out a dramatic sigh.

She slowly stabbed her steak and began to eat it. I realized she isn't big on meat, she actually prefers vegetables and fruit. After watching her finish half of steak on her plate, I went to the fridge and took out the homemade strawberry applesauce that I made, giving her some in a bowl. Her eyes lit up when I set it down in front of her. When I sat back down, I looked to see that she was almost finished with it.
