This scary lady told me that we were going to go out today. She never told me what her name was ever since I have been with her, but she instructed for me to call her Mommy, but she wasn't my Mommy so I just didn't call her anything. She got me dressed in a hoodie with leggings and put a hat on my head. When I looked at my outfit in the mirror, I looked very ugly. She packed some of the extra clothes she bought me into this backpack that she also bought for me along with extra snacks that I didn't eat. I was confused on why she was packing all of this when we were going to go out for a short while.
When she buckled me into my car seat, I watched as she kept looking at me through the mirror, but I quickly looked away each time. I have slowly gotten used to her actions when I realized that she wasn't going to hurt me, but she would always say sad and mean things about Mommy. I don't like it when people talk bad about Mommy.
The drive was taking longer than I expected, as I looked out the window, we have been on the free way for along time now. I was getting tired, so I decided to close my eyes, better than seeing her through the mirror.
"Hey, it's time to wake up" I felt her unbuckle me from the car seat. She carefully set me on the ground and put the backpack on me. When I looked around, I started to notice the houses around me. We were right in front of the park close to my house!
She kneeled down in front of me and kissed my forehead which made me really uncomfortable, she never did that when she took me to her home.
"I'm pretty sure you can find your way around now. I might be going away for a long time now, if I don't leave now. Remember this, I have kept you safe, fed, and clean" She whispered to me as she keeps looking around. I nodded my head, really hoping that she would just leave and I could run away. I'd rather be lost in the middle of no where than be with her again. She was crazy. A crazy lady.
She instructed for me to walk to the park and start swinging on the swings. I was a little to small to swing on my own, so I just sat down on it. I watched her give me a thumbs up and she drove away. I looked at my surroundings, hoping Mommy or Daddy would be looking for me. I know where I was, but I didn't know how to get to my house from here.
I shivered as the wind started to get stronger and I pulled the hood over my head, over my hat. I felt tears start to fall as I started to think about Mommy. Did this all happen to me because I was being a bad girl towards her? I didn't mean to be a bad kid, Daddy told me that I wasn't one.
"Hey, kid! Where's your parents?" I hear someone shout as they ran towards me. I quickly looked up, tears visibly showing as I trembled in fear. I didn't want to be taken again, but something in me wouldn't let me scream.
This man who was carrying a little boy in his arms ran by my side. He careful got me off of the swing and looked at me up at down.
"Are you lost? Do you know where you live?" He asked me, looking worried. I shook my head as my lips trembled and my hands started to shake from fear of being lost again.
He quickly picked me up in his other arm and started to walk away from the park.
"What's your name, darling?" He asked.
"S-Sage" I stuttered, as the little boy smiled at me. I felt the man stop in his tracks and he took a closer look at me, taking my hood and hat off.
"Oh my god! You're Joe's kid! You're Taylor Swift's kid!" He whispered in shock and looked around frantically. He set me and the kid down on the ground and took his phone out of his pocket. I heard him start to talk to someone and he told them where we were and my name.
After a couple minutes of him trying to comfort me, we saw many cars start to pull up to where we were and next thing I knew, Daddy got down from one of the cars.
