Three Months Later:
Sophia's Point Of View:

I woke up to the sound of mommy making weird noises. I crawled out of bed, and went into mommy's bedroom. When I saw mommy's empty bed, I walked into her bathroom. Mommy was holding her hair back and throwing up in the toilet.
"Mommy, are you okay?" I asked. She spit in the toilet one more time, and she looked at me.
"Yea, baby. I will be down stairs in a minute." I went down stairs and watched cartoons before Mommy came down and started making breakfast.

"Sophia, breakfast is ready." Mommy said. I sat at the kitchen counter, and mommy sat next to me while eating some yogurt.
"Sweetie, I need to talk to you about something."
"Am I in trouble?"
"No sweetie. So you know how me and Mamma where asking if you wanted a little brother or sister?"
"Yeah."
"Well I am going to have a baby. So that means you will be a big sister."
"Yay!!!" I said with joy then pulled her into a hug. I finished getting ready and mommy took me to school.

Maura's Point If View:

After I dropped Sophia off at school, I headed to BPD. I headed down to my office, and started to do some paperwork because it was a slow day. I was in the middle of filling out a file, when my laptop started to ring. It was a Skype request from Jane. I pressed except and waited for it to connect.
"Hey baby." Jane said
"Hi sweetie." I said smiling.
"How are you?"
"Besides hormones...good." I said laughing
"And Sophia?"
"She misses you...we miss you but good."
"I am planing on telling everyone about the baby tonight." I said
"Okay, well tell me how it goes. I should be home next month." Jane said
"I hope so. I love you so much...but I have to finish paperwork. Call you tonight?"
"Yeah...okay...sure. I love you."
"I love you too." I said before hanging up. I put my hands into my face a started crying.

Later that evening, Angela was helping my cook dinner while Frankie and Tommy set the table and Sophia was playing with TJ. After we put the food on the table and all took our seats.
"So Maura...what was the news you wanted to tell us?" Angela asked
"Well before Jane decided to go to the army, we where discussing on having another baby. The day she left I found out I was pregnant." I said scared of the outcome.
"Oh my god...I'm gonna have another grand baby!!" Angela said with excitement.
"We are gonna be uncles again." Frankie said
"Congratulations." Tommy said with peer happiness. That went way better than I thought it was going to be.
"Thank you guys."
"How far along are you?" Angela asked
"Three months."
"I am so excited!"

After everyone left, I put Sophia to bed and skyped Jane.
"Hey babe." Jane said
"Hi."
""How did it go?"
"Everyone is so excited."
"Good. I have some news."
"What's going on?"
"My stay got pushed longer. I won't be home for three more months." Jane said. I immediately felt my heart drop.
"But Jane, Sophia needs her mamma and I need my wife. What if something happens to you out there and both our babies will grow up motherless?"
"I'm sorry Maur. I want to be home right now. I love you and I have to go."
"I love you too. I will call you tomorrow." I said before pressing the end button not letting Jane say anything else.
