Jane's Point Of View:

I walked into the kitchen, and Maura was making some toast.
"Sophia is getting dressed. She also is continuing with her pink theme she's got going on." I said hoping to get her attention.
"Maura, I can't do this, I didn't sleep at all last night. It's only been one night. How are we really no supposed to talk for a whole month? Maura, I really need to talk. Can you at least look at me?" I asked and she quickly looked up at me and I felt a smile form on my face. But it didn't last long, she then took her toast and sat at the table. Then our phones rang.
"Rizzoli." I said
"Isles." Maura said
"Ok on my way." I said
"I'll be right there." Maura said and we hung up. I then went to get Sophia. She have Maura a hug, then I dropped her off at school.

After I dropped Sophia off at school, I headed to the crime scene. Maura was kneeling over the body and Korsak, Frost, and Frankie surrounded her.
"What do we got?" I ask pulling the blue latex glove over my hand.
"Male, mid 30's. Shot in the head." Korsak said
"I'm running the license plate number." Frost said
"Appears to be shot with a 45 caliber ." Maura said examining the bullet wound.

Maura's Point Of View:

The whole time at the crime scene, Jane and I said nothing to each other; except for a few glances here and there. I miss Jane so much. I miss being able to touch her, kiss her, and talk to her. How am I seriously supposed to stay away for a whole month? After bagging the body, I quickly gathered my medical bag and headed for my car. When I pulled up to BPD, I saw Jane, Korsak, and Frost heading inside laughing. I haven't seen Jane laugh like that in so long.

When I got to my office, I quickly put my purse and medical bag away before changing into my scrubs.
As I walked to the autopsy room to organize my medical supplies, I heard the truck pull up in the back. I pressed the red button and the back doors opened, then the body was wheeled in. I signed the papers and the two young men helped move the body to the autopsy table. I started the autopsy, making perfect straight incisions. Carefully taking out one organ at a time then thoroughly examining them. After about an hour, the autopsy was finished. I sewed up the damage, and made the body whole again.

When I got to my desk, I started filling out the autopsy report but was interrupted by a quiet knock. I looked up and saw Detective Frost standing in the doorway.
"Hello detective." I said
"Hey Doc. I was wondering if you finished the autopsy report?"
"Not quiet yet. It should be done in a few minutes." I replied
"Okay. Just bring it up when you're done." He said staring to walk off.
"Wait!" I called "has Jane said anything?" I asked
"No. She just asked me to get the autopsy report." He replied
"Okay. Thank you. I should have this done in about five minutes." I said and he walked out. I couldn't help but feel the jealously start to boil. I want to be the person Jane laughs with. I want Jane to come get the autopsy report from me. I want to be able to see my wife and talk to her. This I harder than I first thought.

After I finished the report, I headed up to the bullpen room. Jane quickly glanced at me before putting her head back down to her case file. I walked up to Frost's desk, and I could feel two eyes watching me.
"Here you go, detective." I said handing Frost the file.
"Thanks doc." He replied with a smile. I then headed back to my office.

Jane's Point Of View:

After about six hours of working I was packing up to go home.
"Hey. I'm headed to the dirty robber, want to join?" Frost asked
"Sure." I said grabbing my jacket and keys. When we got to the Dirty Robber, we took a seat at the bar.
"Can I have a beer please?" I asked the bartender
"One for me too." Frost said. Within five seconds, the bartender handed us an open bottle of beer. I took a sip, and just kept my head down.
"Hey, if you ever just want to get out of the house, you are always welcome at my place." Frost said
"Thank you. It's just, I keep giving and giving and giving." I said taking another sip of my beer.
"So how does this 'break' work?" Frost asked
"Well we live together, but in separate rooms, we trade off taking care of Sophia, no talking, and no sex." I said
"That's what me and my girlfriend at doing, except we aren't living together." Frost said
"You don't have a girlfriend." I said
"I know." he replied making me laugh.
"I just hope that me and Maura can work through this."
"You will." He said and we kind of just stayed silent the rest of the time.

When I got home, I walked through a dark and quiet house. I walked to the master bedroom, and saw Maura peacefully sleeping. I leaned on the door frame, the door started to creek open and I put my hand on the door in attempt to stop it from moving. The next thing I knew, Maura sat up and looked at me. She gave me a smile.  I sat on the end of the bed, and stared into her hazel eyes. She slowly leaned in, and her soft lips met with mine. I swiped her bottom lip for access, but she quickly pulled away. I stared at her for a while but then left and walked into the guest bedroom. I laid on my 'new' bed to lazy to change out of my cloths. I stared at the ceiling until I fell asleep.
