Don't Dream It's Over

Beware Part 2

Maura's Point Of View:

We have been working on this case for a week, and we found two more bodies; both female cops with families. I am really worried about, Jane. In the last body, we found Jane's watch that was set to the time 5:26, and on the back today's date was written on it. I made Jane stayed home and I hired a body guard to stay with her and Sophia. I was on my computer shoe shopping waiting for some results. I then got a call.
"Isles."
"Homicide?"
"On my way." I said shutting my laptop and grabbing my things.

Jane's Point Of View:

It was almost 5:26 and we where all on high alert. Nina was back at BPD trying to find anything helpful, while Korsak and Frost patrolled the neighborhood. It was now 5:27 and nothing had happened.
"It's 5:27." My body guard said as he showed me his digital watch. That's when it hit me.
"It's not a time. It's a code. Watch Sophia!" I said as I grabbed my stuff and ran out the door. I was then stopped by a group of police officers, Korsak, and Frost.
"Wait! It's not a time, it's a code. I need to go back to BPD." I said
"No stay here. We will look into it." Korsak said
"No! He is after me. It's passed 5:26 and nothing happened. Please let me go and help because God knows it's not helping anyone that I am sitting on my ass waiting for something bad to happen!" I yelled
"Okay, let's get you to BPD." He said

I have been in the bullpen room for about an hour, and I have no clue what to do. Frankie went to the Dirty Robber and Korsak went to go get dinner. I took everything off the billboard expect for the picture of the watch and of me.
"What are you doing?" Nina asked
"It's all in the past."
"The watch is too."
"Yeah, but it means something. What is it an equation? 5+2+6+2+6? Is it 5/26?" Then that is when it hit me.
"Dash. Hand me that bible in the bottom drawer." I said to Nina. She handed me the bible, and I flipped through the book.
"Matthew 5:26, "Truly I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny."" I quoted from the bible.
"This is about revenge." I said
"What dos the watch have to do with it?" She asked
"On the back of the watch, it was engraved "Love Ma" Ma is the target!" I said running to the elevator and calling Frankie.
"Frankie, where are you?" I asked
"At the Dirty Robber."
"Ma is the target. Take the route Ma would take to get to her house and if you see her, stop her!" I said before hanging up. As I got the BPD doors, I saw Korsak.
"Ma is the target."
"How do you know!"
"5:26 is a passage in the bible."
"What if you reverse it? 26:5:26?" He said
"It's the penal code for kidnapping." I said

Frankie, Frost, and Korsak, and I all raced to Ma's. When we got to Ma's, she was in the kitchen making coffee.
"Ahh!" She screamed, when she saw us run in with our guns in the air.
"Your okay." I said running and giving her a hug."
"What's going on?" Pop asked
"We where working on a case and the killer was targeting me. And-and I haut needed to make sure you where okay." I said holding back the tears.
"Well if you and Ma aren't that target, then who is?" Frankie asked, then I realized it. I pulled out my phone and dialed a specific number.
"Who are you calling?" Korsak asked
"Maura. She's at the office right?" I asked just getting voice mail.
"She should be." Frost replied
"I'm getting voicemail." I said

Maura's Point Of View:

After I arrived at the crime scene I was called to, it was dark as I saw one police car and caution tape. I walked under the tape and saw no body, no officer, nothing. I looked at my phone, and saw I had a miss call from Jane. As I was about to press cal, I felt a hand wrap around my mouth and one around my waist. I dropped my phone as someone dragged me away. I tried screaming as loud as I could, but it was no use. I felt me feet dragging on the ground before I was pushed into the trunk of the car.

A/N: another cliffhanger. I know, I know it was almost the same ending as the summer finale of Rizzoli and Isles season six.
