"WHAT'S GOING ON BETWEEN Stevens and Denny?" Bailey asks her two interns, as they stop at the nurse's station, as Liam approaches. "Is it a crush? Is it an innocent flirtation? Or is Stevens actually crossing the line?"
"Who are we talking about?" Liam asks.
"Well, if it isn't the gossip queen of Seattle Grace." Bailey rolls her eyes.
"I am so not a gossip queen." Liam defends, as Bailey turns to the interns, expecting an answer.
"I know she likes him. I can't imagine Izzie would do that." Meredith answers, as Maddison doesn't say anything.
"Uh-huh. I couldn't imagine you, Sloan and Yang would be stupid enough to fall for your attendings, but I was wrong about that, wasn't I?" Bailey tells them.
"Well, to be fair, I am very charming." Liam smirks.
"You're so right, Dr. Bailey." Maddison tells her, as Liam gives her an offended look.
"I'm knitting these days." Meredith tells Bailey. "Plus, I'm thinking about accepting a date with a veterinarian."
"Grey. Do you actually believe I care?" Bailey asks.
"No." Meredith answers.
"Good. Maybe you're not so stupid after all." Bailey replies, as the two interns go to walk away. "Sloan, come back here."
Maddison makes a pleading face towards Meredith, but the other give just shrugs, and walks away.
"Maddison Sloan, you tell me what you know." Bailey says. "You tell me right now."
Maddison sighs.
"As Doctors, we have so many patients, Dr. Bailey. It's impossible not to care about about some of them a bit more." Maddison tells her. "Izzie just like him. It happens. I'm sure she's smart enough to know where the line it."
