the other side of this life
"WHAT IS RRMS?" ADRIAN ASKS Alex, who sat in the hot chair in Liam and Maddison's house.
"Uh, it's- it's remitting something-" Alex tries to remember.
"You're never gonna get laid like this, you know." Adrian says, making Alex narrow him eyes. "With your looks, the only thing that you have working for you is being a doctor."
"Relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis!" Alex grits out.
"This is surprisingly a very good learning method." Meredith hums from the sofa.
"Are you kidding?" Cristina speaks up from the floor. "I got like straight 7 answers right after he said I was gonna end up a housewife with no job and four kids."
Maddison laughs, with Liam's hand wrapped around her, as the couple sat and watched their son quiz the interns.
"Yeah..." George mutters. "He said the same thing to me."
"Do I look like I'm a fake blonde?" Izzie asks, looking at her hair.
"I was just being mean." Adrian tells her, as he walks over and picks up a bowl of popcorn. He plops down in the sofa next to Maddison, who takes some of the snack. Bagel, the now a little bigger kitten, makes herself at home on Adrian's lap. "You look like a true blond." Izzie smiles at this, making Maddison give Adrian a look. "What?" Adrian asks, innocently, as Izzie realizes what he said. "It was a compliment."
"I have a feeling you are enjoying this more than you should." Liam teases the kid.
"Hey, I'm just trying to help them study and motivate them." Adrian shrugs, while Liam pats Pudding, who was sitting on the floor near them.
"Okay, now off to bed." Liam tells the kid. "It's almost half past 11."
"But I can help more." Adrian argues.
"You can help by waking up for school on time tomorrow." Maddison tells him, messing his hair. "Take Bagel with you."
"Fine." Adrian pouts.
"Thank you for helping us study." Meredith smiles, as the kid walks past her.
"You're welcome." Adrian replies. "And I really didn't mean what I said about your roots, your hair looks good."
