S3 E22 the other side of this life
MADDISON SAT ON THE bed with her eyes closed and a look of concentration on her face as she answered.
"The internal carotid artery..." She lists, but her eyebrows furrow. "...the internal jugular vein..."
She trails off, making Liam speak up.
"And?" He whispers in between the girl's legs, pausing what he was doing, making Maddison let out an annoyed sigh.
"And..." She tries to remember, as Liam's hand slowly trails down then up her thigh. "I can't decode if what you're doing is helping or distracting..."
"We can always stop." Liam grins up at her, tilting his head.
"But I've learned so much like this." Maddison smirks.
"Then what was the answer?" Liam whispers, kissing her inner thigh.
Maddison leans back and sighs.
"...the vagus nerve..." She mutters, breathless.
"Mhmm..." Liam hums. "How do you treat pancreatic divisum?"
Maddison lets out a gasp at whatever he did, and grips the comforter.
"...Dorsal duct..." She says, her hand going to his hair. "...sphincterotomy..." Liam's hand goes to her waist and she lets out a moan. "Liam...."
"What is MEN Syndrome?" Liam asks, but Maddison lost the will to answer.
They both forget about the question, enjoying their time, until a voice calls out from the other side of the door.
"Multiple endocrine neoplasia." The voice answers, making the two look up with wide eyes.
Maddison rushes to the door, pulling her robe over her, and sees Cristina sitting on the floor of the hallway with notes around her and eating a protein bar.
"What the..." Maddison's jaw drops. "Hell?!"
"You took too long to answer." Cristina simply replies, as Liam walks up to them, raising an eyebrow at the two girls.
"Cupcake!" Maddison yells. "It's midnight!"
"Yeah, and look at you studying." Cristina takes another bite of the protein bar. "You're such a good student."
