Ed and I walked around London for two hours. Just talking. When it started getting late, I decided I should go back to Sage's pub and get some rest.

"Let me walk you home." Ed said, when we stopped left a shop we had wandered into. I shook my head.

"I can walk myself home." I insisted. Ed shook his head.

"Please, Reggie." Ed begged. "Its the least I could do." He got down on one knee and put his hands together. "Please!" A few people were watching us now.

"Okay! Okay!" I said, giggling. "You can walk me home." Ed stood up, triumphantly.

"Good. Let's go!"

I laid in my bed that night, staring at my new phone. I had gotten it the day after Craig and I arrived in London. Earlier before Ed left, I gave him my number and he said he would call me or text me later. Well, its later.

I thought it was odd that Ed has his own phone because he is, well, homeless. Then again, he probably could afford it.

I stared at the screen of my phone. Call. Just call. "Aww! Shit!" I heard Craig yell from his room. He was playing a game on his computer. Wow what a spaz! My phone suddenly buzzed. It was Ed.

ED: Hey, love. You still awake?
ME: Yes. Hello.
ED: Hey :)
ME: Hi

Is this really all we are gonna say?

ED: So, today was quite fun. I fancy we do that again sometime.

There we go!

ME: Definitely!

Ed and I texted each other for another hour. Then we said good night and went to sleep. I've never talked to anyone that long before... I'm surprised he stayed awake...

It was now almost midnight. I was smiling like crazy. God, he is such a sweet guy! I giggled. Then my door opened. "What are you laughing for?" It was Craig.

"Just thinking about Ed." I said, before I could stop myself. Craig flicked on the light.

"He is too old for you Reggie! What are you doing!?" Craig snapped. I sat up in bed and crossed my arms.

"Excuse me? He is 19. And I'm 17. I see no issue there." I snapped back. Craig narrowed his eyes.

"You're being an idiot, Reggie! We're in England! Everyone is more mature!" He shouted. I rolled my eyes.

"I'm not an idiot!" I retorted. "Besides, Ed and I are just friends."

"Bull fucking shit!" Craig shouted. "He is going to use you! But you're too stupid to see that!" I shrunk back. Craig had never been so aggressive towards me before. "No wonder you don't have any friends!" I winced.

The voice whispered in my mind. "See, Worthless? Even Craig knows the truth. You're better off dead." The voice said. I frowned. Not now. Please not now.

"What's going on?" Sage was standing behind Craig at the door. She looked furious. "Do you realize what time it is?" Craig turned and glared at her.

"This bitch is going to ruin her life!" He said, pointing at me. Sage looked over at me.

"How might that be?" She asked.

"She is gonna fuck Ed, get herself pregnant, then be stuck with a kid because she is a worthless slut!" Craig exclaimed. Sage then glared at Craig.

"First of all, don't you dare talk like that! Reggie is your sister. You should love her. Not hurt her." Sage snapped. Craig looked ashamed. "Second of all, Ed is a nice young man. He wouldn't hurt a fly, let alone Reggie." Sage continued.

"I..." Craig started. Sage silenced him with her hand.

"Third of all, from what I have learned about Ed through the people of London, if he did get Reggie pregnant, which he won't, he would help her raise the baby." Sage said. I raised my eyebrows. Help raise a baby? He would be that committed?

"Lies. All lies. He'd leave you to die in the gutter, Worthless." The voice whispered in my head. I felt the tears forming in my eyes.

"Ha! Sure he would." Craig said. Then he glanced at me. "Reggie, go ahead and be a slut if you wish. Just don't come crying to me when you're pregnant."

"I'm not a slut!" I said, choking back tears. Sage opened her mouth to say something, but Craig interrupted her.

"Fuck you, Reggie!" He shouted. "I wish you'd just kill yourself already and get out of my life!" Craig shoved Sage out of the way and ran from the room. Sage looked at me. I was sobbing now.

"He meant what he said! He meant it!" I sobbed. Sage sat down on my bed and held me in her arms.

"Shh... He didn't mean it Reggie... He was just upset..." She whispered. "And a little aled..." Sage ran her hand through my hair and hummed a little song, soothing me until I stopped crying.

"Thank you..." I said, hugging her tightly.

"Its okay, love." She replied softly. "Now, off to bed with you." She stood up and shut the light off. I laid down under the comforter and looked at her. "Good night Reggie." She said.

"Night Sage." I replied. "I love you." Sage smiled in the dim light.

"I love you too." She said, closing my door. I rolled over and looked at my phone again.

Is all that stuff about Ed true? Would he treat me poorly? Or would he treat me with respect? Then another thought crossed my mind. Would Ed ever date me?

Hey guys! This was chapter eight! The side of Craig you just saw was the brotherly side, and I promise you he is just worried about Reggie. Sometimes, worry can cause fear and anger. And anger can lead to hurting someone you care about. Anyways, vote, comment, and follow if you want!
