The Gauntlet: Part 2

3rd Person POV:

Xever selects a snakehead fish at a market stall.

Chris: "That's the ugliest thing I've ever seen. Present company excluded. So, we have a problem."

Xever: "No, you have a problem."

Chris: "We've both failed Master Shredder. Can you live with that shame?"

Xever: "If I had the opportunity, I would crush those turtles like bugs."

Chris: "And Alyssa? Would you honestly consider hurting or even 'crushing' your own flesh and blood? Even if she is a treacherous failure."

Xever: "I do whatever Master Shredder asks of me. Same as you."

Then, Chris' phone rings, and after reading the message, he maliciously grins.

Xever: "What is that?"

Chris: "Opportunity. Hope you're ready for another family reunion."

Alyssa's POV:

After receiving Mr. O'Neil's location from Pete and giving him the sourdough bread we promised, we create an opening on the roof of the Kraang's secret base for us to sneak into.

April: "Let's do this."

Leo: "We need you to wait here, April."

April: "Are you crazy? My dad's in there."

Leo: "Along with who knows how many Kraang. This requires stealth and mobility. Leave it to the pros."

April: "I can't just do nothing."

Leo: "You won't be doing nothing. We need you to lower this rope when we give you the signal."

So, the Turtles & I sneak into the building and take out a Kraang-droid that notices Mikey's entrance. We then walk down the hall and take down three Kraang-droids guarding the control room before doing the same to the one inside.

Leo: "Donnie, hack into the system and see what you can find out about the Kraang's plot. Raph and Alyssa, you're with me. Mikey, you stay with Donnie."

Donnie: "Why do I always get stuck with Mikey?"

Mikey: "Hey."

Leo: "I don't want him. And I'm in charge."

Mikey: "Hey!"

Donnie: "Well, then make Raph take Mikey."

Raph: "Over my dead body."

Mikey: "You know, I'm starting to think nobody wants to be with me. Fine, I'll just go off on my own."

Mikey uses a smoke bomb and disappears but reappears in the closet.

Mikey: *embarrassedly chuckles* "That's a closet."

Raph: "Have fun, you two."

Leo, Raph, & I head further down the halls to find Mr. O'Neil's cell. Once we do, Leo starts working on picking the lock.

Leo: "Mr. O'Neil? Are you in here?"

Kirby: "You're one of the turtles who rescued my daughter. Is she ok?"

Leo: "She's fine. She's right outside."
