Trust in the Shadows

The Pulverizer: Part 2

Alyssa's POV:

When we arrive at Stockman's hideout, he's sitting in the room's center, surrounded by Purple Dragons.

Leo: "Baxter Stockman, whatever you're up to with those robotic parts, it ends now."

Baxter: "You wanna see what I'm working on? Well, here it comes."

At that, the newly mutated Xever emerges, now with a pair of robotic legs, thereby making it possible for him to walk again, and he's met with our laughter.

Leo: "Look! Sushi that delivers itself."

Xever angrily growls before kicking a filing cabinet towards us, an attack we easily dodge.

Mikey: "Dude, Fishface is a little sensitive."

Me: "You're calling him Fishface?"

Mikey: "Well, it was that or Robocarp."

Fishface retorts by kicking Mikey towards the wall.

Mikey: *whimpers* "Pretty good, pretty good."

Raph: "Important safety tip: avoid the legs."

Raph charges and fights Fishface, dodging his attacks and vice-versa, before pinning Fisface to the wall by his legs.

Raph: "What do you got besides legs?"

In response, Fishface bites Raph's right shoulder, causing Raph to drop his sai as he backs away, groaning in pain.

Raph: "Teeth...I think they're...Poison."

With that, Raph collapses as Mikey rushes to his aid while Leo & I fight off Fishface.

Mikey: "Raph, are you ok?"

Raph: "Huh? Sure. Yeah."

One of the Purple Dragons tries to attack Mikey from behind, but Mikey grabs him by the wrist with his nunchucks and flips him overhead.

Raph: *delirious* "I'm fine. I love you."

Mikey: *to Leo & I* "He's not fine!"

Leo: "Call Donnie. Tell him we need an antidote."

Mikey: *over the phone* "Donnie! We need help! Raph's been bitten by a giant, poisonous, robotic fish!-*over the phone*-Interesting interesting. GET OVER HERE!-*over the phone*-He keeps telling me I'm the smartest guy he knows.-*over the phone*-Green, man, and I mean way more than usual."

Meanwhile, Baxter and another Purple Dragon approach Mikey from behind, armed with a crowbar and a large object--{A/N: IDK}--. Still, Mikey glares at them and quickly overpowers them before answering Donnie's next question.

Mikey: *over the phone* "Nah, he doesn't have any...No, check that. Ah, what the...? I knew you ate my pizza! You liar!"

Meanwhile, Fishface grabs Leo's arm and mine before flinging us into the air and kicking and pinning us to the ground.

Me: *groans* "Nice to see you, too, Papi."

Mikey: "Donnie, get here now!"

Then, Fishface attacks Mikey as the Shellraiser crashes through the wall. Donnie fires a trash bomb at Fishface before rushing to inject Raph with the antidote alongside the Pulverizer.

Donnie: "Raph, you still with us, buddy?"

Raph: "Donnie?"

Donnie: "Yeah, Raph."

Raph: "Why are there fingers on my feet?"

Donnie: "You'll be ok. Hold still."

Donnie injects the syringe into Raph's system.

Raph: "Thanks, magical unicorn."

Donnie helps Raph onto his feet as the Pulverizer practically gushes with excitement.

Pulverizer: "That was awesome! We saved him!"

Donnie: "We saved him? You wanted to stop and sell ice cream. If I hadn't jumped and smashed through that wall-"

Mikey: "Uh, Donnie, is the Shellraiser supposed to do that?"

We rush into the Shellraiser to see that the glass protecting the power cell is broken.

Donnie: "It's cracked. Oh, this is bad. The Kraang can detect that energy signature. We gotta get back underground before they come looking for the power cell."

{Time skip}

Leo drives us home as the Kraang surround us with their helicopters and vans.

Raph: "Hold her steady, Leo. I'll take care of these jokers."

Raph deploys manhole covers at their vans.

Leo: "Uh, guys. The Kraang are on the roof."

Mikey & Donnie head to the roof to fight off the incoming Kraang.

Mikey: "Leo, Kraang can fly! Kraang can fly!"

Pulverizer: "Wow, no one told me they were robot aliens!"

Me: "Why would we tell you?"

Suddenly, we veer off the road and crash into the side of the building. Leo and I leap out of the vehicle while the others follow us to deal with the rest of the Kraang. We're mid-fight when we see a Kraang-droid running off with the power cell and Pulverizer chasing him. He tries one of the basic moves Donnie inevitably taught him, only to be flung toward two other droids while the main ones board a helicopter.

Donnie: "Hey! That's my power source, slime bot!"

Donnie rushes toward the helicopter but stops when he sees the Pulverizer in trouble. So, he ditches the helicopter and saves the Pulverizer as the remaining Kraang fly away.

Pulverizer: "Ah, man. It looks like I mucked everything up, didn't I?"

Mikey: "Hey, bro, it's not your fault."

Leo: "Um, actually, Mikey, it is."

Mikey: "Oh, yeah."

Donnie: "Not completely. I'm the one who sent the Shellraiser through the wall, and that's what cracked the power cell."

Pulverizer: "Uh, so, you think we could pick up our training again sometime?"

Donnie approaches Pulverizer, places a hand on his left shoulder, and replies with a deadpan look.

Donnie: "No."

Pulverizer: "Fine. But I'll be practicing. And I'll be back. And wherever crime may roam, wherever help is-"

Turtles & I: "Bye!"

With that, Pulverizer walks away.

Donnie: "I've gotta figure out how we're getting that power cell back."

Me: "Which raises the question, how are we gonna get the Shellraiser home?"

{Time skip}

Leo, Mikey, Raph & I push the Shellraiser along the subway tracks as hard as possible while Donnie sits in the driver's seat.

Raph: "Are you sure the parking brake isn't on?"

Donnie: "For the hundredth time, yes! Oh, wait. Sorry, guys!-*opens door*-Uh, try it now."

Leo, Raph, & I: "Donnie!"

Mikey: "Donatello!"
