New Girl in Town: Part 1

Alyssa's POV:

Tonight, we're chasing Snakeweed through the streets. Along the way, we run into a pizza boy as he pulls up to a street corner on his motorcycle, and Snakeweed grabs him.

Mikey: "No! Not the pizza guy! Take Donnie!"

Donnie: "Snakeweed's getting away!"

We finally manage to corner him in an alley.

Leo: "We've got him trapped."

Raph: "Good. Then let's go weed-whacking!"

Donnie: "Tree-trimming!"

Mikey: "Gardening! Boom! Ha ha! Oh, yeah. Mikey put the sprinkles on that sundae."

Raph: *sighs* "Let's go!"

Raph starts to walk ahead of us, but Leo stops him.

Leo: "Hang on, Raph. We're not charging a 12-foot, regenerating mutant."

Raph: "Then what are we doing?"

Leo: "We'll take Snakeweed from above, tie him up in the clotheslines. Come on."

Leo leaps onto the side of a building, and I follow him until Raph objects to the plan.

Raph: "That'll take forever, and we have to stop Snakeweed now! I mean, he's kidnapping people."

Mikey: "Not just people. People who bring pizza!"

Leo: "We take him from above. Let's move!"

So, we follow Leo onto the roof.

Leo: *whispers* "On my count. One, two..."

But when we reach the edge, Snakeweed's gone.

Leo: "Where'd he-?"

Raph: "And the award for worst leader goes to-"

Leo: "How am I the worst leader?"

Raph: "If we did this my way, Snakeweed would be toast by now."

Mikey: "Ugh. That'd be some nasty toast."

Leo: "This way would've worked if you hadn't wasted time second-guessing my orders."

Raph: "Don't give bad orders, and I won't second-guess 'em."

Leo: "You know what, Raph? If you think you could do better, why don't you lead?"

Raph: "First good idea you've had all day."

Mikey: "We'll compromise. I'll lead."

Leo & Raph angrily look at Mikey, who steps back toward the sidelines alongside me and Donnie.

Leo: "Fine, Raph, the team's yours. I'm out of here."

With that, Leo walks away, and I follow him in case he needs someone to talk to once he's cooled off. When I catch up to him, I find him pacing back and forth before kicking and punching anything in sight. Then, he's approached from behind by Foot soldiers.

Leo: "Foot Clan?-*scoffs*-You guys just made my night."

He then fights against the soldiers.

Me: "Mind if I cut in, gentlemen?"

Leo smiles when he notices me standing beneath the moonlight.
