I sighed in frustration but also fear as I stared at probably the hundredth picture the past week from an unknown number but I had figured out who it was at this point.
Josh.
I didn't rest easy at nights knowing that he was watching me everywhere I went or was standing outside my apartment complex if he hadn't already found away in, waiting for the guys to make a mistake so he could snatch me up.
Or worst.
Zahra.
Shavelle.
Amyra.
Jamila.
And the list had quite a few other names that I didn't want to mention because the ones I did mention were making my heart miss several beats.
"Babe?"
"Hmm." I tore my eyes away from my phone and looked up at him.
"Wah deh pan yuh mind?"
"It's him again." I held up the phone to show him the picture and he kissed his teeth. "When will it end?" I asked with a sigh as I ran my hands down my face.
"Soon."
"How soon is soon?" I got up from the couch and walked into the kitchen.
"As soon as we find him."
"An unnu surely a tek unnu sweet time." I groaned out loud and ran my hands down my face yet again.
"Relax."
"How di hell mi fi relax wen dis man a stalk mi an mi cyaan live inna peace. I am tired Nasir." I walked back into the living room and took my phone from him. "Mi cyaan do dis nuh more."
"Wul on deh." He grabbed my arm when I went to walk past him. "Weh yuh mean yuh cyaan do dis nuh more?"
"Not right now Nasir."
"Stop stressing yourself out."

"Mi tell yuh seh mi a work pan it."
"Well work harder." I kissed my teeth and shook his hand off me. "You said you'd protect me but I honestly am not feeling protected at all."
