Yin could look at War for just thirty seconds and find a million things that he loved about him. He loved, at the end of the day, to cuddle up to him as he held him, and kiss his forehead. He loved to brush hair from his forehead so he could see his eyes better, the eyes that stared up at him and held so much love in just one simple gaze.

Yin sat down on the couch beside War and pulled him into his arms, moving his head to look at War. Brushing a strand of hair from War's eyes with his fingers, he smiled. War couldn't help but smile too when he saw Yin.

Turning his head, Yin pressed his lips to War's forehead. "You did good today." He says.
War smiles. "You missed. You're always missing."
War pulls Yin's head to his own and kisses him.

And maybe that was also a reason Yin loved to kiss War's forehead.

"Smile again." Yin pleads with a soft smile, reaching out to touch War's cheek lightly. And War does it, because he can't resist Yin. "I love your dimples," Yin adds softly, a pure look of love coming across his face. The look that makes War melt, a look that makes War want to kiss Yin senseless.

Yin plays with the edge of the picnic blanket absentmindedly as he touches War's face softly, bringing him back to the present. The river sits in front of them, the breeze blows in the trees and the birds twitter softly in the background. The sun is out, yet they're the only ones on the bank today.

War lays across Yin's lap, looking up at the blue sky. Yin runs his fingers through his hair softly. When War looks at Yin, meeting his eyes, he smiles again and there goes Yin's heart. Gently, he touches War's dimple, leaning down to press a kiss against his cheek.

As long as he lives, this is the one smile that he wants to see every day.

War could see in the way that Yin was holding himself that today had been tiring for him. For the both of them it had been a long day, but War could always see in Yin's shoulders when it was extra tiring for him.

War moved in front of Yin, giving him a soft smile. "You did good today." He tells him softly, running his fingers back through Yin's hair.
Yin gives him a smile back and wraps War in his arms, pulling his body against his closely. "I love you."
War smiles. "I know you do." He tips his head up, looking into Yin's eyes, giving him a cheeky smile when Yin raises an eyebrow at his response. Leaning in closer, War brushes his lips over Yin's, murmuring against them, "You know that I love you too."
Yin smiles then and puts his hands on the back of War's neck, pressing their lips together harder.

War's lips smile against Yin's and he wraps his arms around Yin's neck, moving one arm to cup Yin's face as he rubs a thumb over his cheek.

Yin snakes his arms around War from behind, kissing the side of his neck before resting his head on War's shoulder. War relaxed into Yin's arms, putting his hands over Yin's as he turns his head, looking at Yin with a soft smile.

War loves that Yin holds him. He loves the feel of his arms wrapped around him. He loves that he feels safe in Yin's arms.

"You feel like home." War mumbles, absentmindedly playing with one of Yin's hands. War can't see it, but Yin smiles and holds him tighter.
"I'll always be your home." Yin murmurs in reply.
"I love you."  War says. "Sometimes it scares me how much I love you." Leaning his head back, he meets Yin's gaze.
Yin presses a soft kiss against War's lips before he responds. "I love you, War. I love you more than all the stars in the sky."

Yin loves holding War's hands in his. He loves giving War a reassuring squeeze when he needs one or brushing his thumb over the back of War's hand lightly, just a small touch.

War loves holding Yin's hand, too. Sometimes he likes drawing things on the back of Yin's hand with his finger when he's bored or tapping his finger lightly against Yin's palm, just for fun.

Both of them trace the lines on each other's palms, learning each curve and crease, pressing gentle kisses there.

War doesn't know where they're going other than the feet that he can hear water from a waterfall. He holds on to Yin's hand, letting him lead the way to their final destination. He feels Yin give him a reassuring squeeze and smiles softly, squeezing back.

When Yin stops, they're standing on a rock right in front of the waterfall. War momentarily is shocked by the beauty of the scene in front of him. When he turns his head to look at Yin, he's not standing beside him.

Turning around, he sees Yin watching him with a smile on his face and War thinks he knows what's coming next, but it doesn't shock him any less when it happens. As Yin bends one knee, tears sting the back of War's eyes.

"I love kissing your forehead each day. I love seeing the way that you look at me. I love your dimples that show when you smile so widely at me. I want to see you smile for the rest of my life. I love your mouth. I love to hear what you say and I love when you kiss me. I love holding you in my arms and I love feeling like your home, making you feel safe. I love holding your hand through everything. I love knowing that you're always there for me. I want to hold your hand for the rest of our lives, War. I want to experience so much more with you. I want to see your dimples every day. I want to hear you every day, I want to kiss you every day. I want to be yours forever." Yin pauses, opening the box and meeting War's eyes. "Can we make this forever, War?"
War steps forward, grabbing Yin's face in his hands and kissing him hard. He pulls back only enough to murmur 'Yes' against Yin's lips.

As Yin stands up, he wraps his arms around War tightly, holding him close to him. He rubs the back of War's head softly, smiling brightly as War cries in his shoulder.

Yin brushes the tears from War's face with his thumbs gently, sliding the ring onto War's finger. Their eyes meet again and Yin sees the smile that he loves so much.

"I love you." War tells him.
Yin smiles. "I know you do."  He kisses War, saying, 'I love you too' against his lips.
