The cozy atmosphere of Hopper's cabin was shattered as Dustin walked in on Max and Lucas sharing a sweet kiss. Lucas had his arms wrapped around Max's waist, their embrace filled with warmth and affection. But their tender moment was interrupted by the sound of Dustin's camera clicking. Max and Lucas turned, their eyes widening in surprise as they caught Dustin in the act.
"Dustin, what are you doing?!" Max exclaimed, a playful glint in her eyes as she reached for the camera in Dustin's hands. Lucas chuckled, shaking his head in amusement. "Looks like we've been caught in the act, huh?"
Dustin grinned mischievously, holding the camera out of Max's reach. "I'm getting some great footage for the archives! Mike and the others are gonna love this!"But as Max and Lucas realized the gravity of the situation, their laughter turned to panic. "Dustin, you can't show that to anyone!" Lucas protested, a hint of desperation creeping into his voice.
Max nodded in agreement, her eyes wide with concern. "We'll do anything, just please don't show it to everyone!"Dustin hesitated for a moment, the playful expression on his face fading as he caught sight of the genuine fear in Max and Lucas's eyes. "I... okay, I won't show it to anyone," he promised, a hint of guilt flashing in his gaze.
But before anyone could react, Max lunged forward, grabbing the camera from Dustin's hands. "Lucas, I got it! Let's run!" she exclaimed, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. And with that, the trio took off, laughter ringing through the cabin as they raced through the rooms, Dustin close on their heels. But as they made their escape, the camera slipped from Max's grasp, falling to the floor with a resounding crash.
The room fell silent as the three friends stared at the broken camera, a heavy silence settling over them. Dustin's face fell, his shoulders slumping in disappointment. "I'm so sorry, Dustin. We didn't mean for this to happen," Max said, her voice tinged with regret as she reached out to comfort her friend.
Lucas nodded in agreement, a sense of guilt gnawing at him. "We'll make it right, Dustin. We'll buy you a new camera," he promised, determination shining in his eyes. And with those words, a sense of relief washed over Dustin, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. The bond between the three friends was unbreakable, their friendship stronger than any mishap. And as they joined hands to make amends, they knew that no matter what challenges they faced, they would always have each other's backs.
