It's still been 7 months since Max had woken up from her near-death experience, and she and Lucas had been inseparable ever since. They had grown closer during their time together in Hawkins, and their friendship had blossomed into something more.
One sunny afternoon, they found themselves in their shared room in Hopper's cabin, locked in a passionate kiss. Lucas trailed kisses down Max's neck, causing her to let out a soft moan. Surprised by the sound, Lucas couldn't help but let out a moan of his own.
They pulled away, both blushing furiously. "Wow...this is the first time that I've heard you moan like this," Max said, trying to break the tension.
"I don't know where that came from..." Lucas admitted, his cheeks turning a deeper shade of red.
Max smiled shyly. "I kinda liked it..."
"Same," Lucas replied, his voice barely above a whisper. "I never want to stop hearing that sound from you."
Their eyes locked, and in that moment, they both knew that what they had was something special. They leaned in for another kiss, their feelings for each other only growing stronger with each passing day. And as they held each other close, they knew that no matter what challenges they faced in the Upside Down world of Hawkins, they would always have each other to lean on.
Max and Lucas pulled away from their passionate kiss, both still blushing and trying to catch their breath. Their hearts raced as they looked into each other's eyes, filled with a mix of excitement and tenderness.
"I can't believe we're finally doing this," Max whispered, her voice trembling with emotion.
"I know," Lucas replied, his eyes never leaving hers. "I've been waiting for this moment for so long."
They leaned in for another kiss, their lips meeting passionately. As Lucas trailed his fingers down Max's spine, she let out a soft moan, which was immediately followed by Lucas's own moan. Their breath hitched, and they moaned in unison, their feelings for each other reaching a fever pitch.
Hopper, who had been working in his study just down the hall, heard the commotion and couldn't help but rush into the room, concern etched on his face. "What's going on in here?" he demanded, his voice booming.
Max and Lucas quickly disentangled themselves, both still breathless and flushed from their moment of passion. "Uh, nothing, Hopper," Lucas stammered, trying to regain his composure.
"We were just...talking," Max added, her voice equally shaky.
Hopper raised an eyebrow, looking from one of them to the other. "Talking? It sounded like more than just talking in there."
"Well, we've been dating since 8th grade, back in 1984," Lucas explained, trying to justify their actions. "And Max was in a coma for most of 1986 and a lot of this year. We've been waiting for this moment for a long time."
Hopper sighed, understanding softening his features. "Alright, just...keep it down, alright? We don't need the whole town knowing your business."
Max and Lucas nodded, both grateful for Hopper's understanding. As the older man left the room, they turned to face each other, their love for one another stronger than ever.
"I'm glad we waited for this moment," Max said, her voice filled with emotion.
"Me too," Lucas agreed, pulling her close once more. "And I promise, I'll always be there for you, no matter what comes our way."
Max smiled, her heart swelling with love for Lucas. "I know you will." And with that, they continued their passionate embrace, knowing that their bond would only grow stronger as they faced the challenges that lay ahead in the mysterious world of Hawkins.
As the days passed, Max and Lucas found themselves growing even more inseparable. Their need for each other was stronger than ever, and they decided to approach their high school principal to request that they be placed in all the same classes.
"I know it's a bit unconventional, but we've been through so much together, and we just can't imagine being apart for most of the day," Lucas explained to the principal, who listened intently to their request.
The principal, recognizing the unique bond between the two teens, agreed to their request, allowing Max and Lucas to share all their classes for the remainder of the school year.
Meanwhile, their friends Mike, Dustin, and Will, along with Eleven, began to notice the growing closeness between Max and Lucas. They couldn't help but wonder what had changed between them.
One afternoon, after school, they decided to confront the couple. "So, what's going on with the two of you?" Mike asked, his curiosity piqued.
Max and Lucas exchanged glances before Lucas spoke up. "We've always been close, but after everything we've been through, we just can't imagine being apart from each other. We want to support each other and face whatever challenges come our way together."
"But you're taking it to a whole new level by being in all the same classes," Will pointed out.
Max then revealed her struggle with separation anxiety. "I've been dealing with separation anxiety since I woke up from the coma. I just can't handle being away from Lucas for too long. It's like my heart would break if we were apart."
Eleven, who had been quiet throughout the conversation, finally spoke up. "I understand. I've felt that way too, sometimes. It's okay to need each other."
The friends nodded in agreement, understanding the depth of Max and Lucas's connection. They knew that their bond was something special, and they would support them in any way they could.
As the friends left, Max and Lucas hugged each other tightly, grateful for the support they received. They knew that they would face challenges together, but with their unwavering love and support, they were ready to face anything that the world of Hawkins had in store for them.
