So, Wanderer was spying on Kurapika. He wasn't worried, just making sure his first day back to work from resting went well. Even though his eyes were still aching slightly, Kurapika still went to keep appearances. Wanderer wanted to avoid anything that would reveal his bloodline. That's the only reason he was here...
Still, he was shocked to hear that Kurapika's first mission, was to buy a set of Kurta eyes from the auction. Now that the spiders were gone, rich folks hurried to buy what they wanted.
Of course, Kurta eyes were the biggest prize recovered.
Wanderer also learned some interesting things about Kurapika's work by listening through the small Neo hidden in Kurapika's clothes.
Apparently, the young lady he worked for had lost her unique ability, and now she needed the Kurta eyes to feel better about everything.
Crying like a spoiled brat and making a fuss. Kurapika had better restrain than Wanderer. He personally would've given her a good reason to cry.
If he was in Kurapika's shoes, and the Gnosis he wanted so badly had to be handed to someone unworthy...
He honestly would've kept it.
But judging by Kurapika's distant gaze, he might have something else planned.
But what? Wanderer growled and scratched his head with irritation.
What now? Follow Kurapika just in case? But he's alone, if something happened, what could he do apart from kicking someone for Kurapika's own safety?
He decided to let Nahida know. Her advice would be greatly appreciated...
Especially if anything happened. So he took the small Neo out of his kimono and spoke to it.
"Nahida, I..." He groaned and hurried to spit it out. "Need some help."
What he didn't know, was that his Goddess of wisdom was currently staring at two children with her arms resting above her hips. A frown on her brows as they kept their heads down and away from her.
"Killua."
He hummed in response, moving his head to the side with a slight pout.
"Why were you tasing yourself, just now?"
"Well, first of all."
Killua cleared his throat before finally looking at her eyes, arms crossed as he talked.
"I've been under electric torture, also known as shock therapy since I was five-"
"Not something to brag about."
He ignored Nahida and continued.
"-I knew I could stand it, I just needed it. I wanted to..." His voice quieted down while he slumped and gazed somewhere else. "Change my aura into electricity..."
He glanced at her frown, seeing she sighed and eased her expression.
"Look, I need to know. You realize that your childhood wasn't only abnormal, but also dangerous. Right?"
Killua nodded, his gaze elsewhere as he answered nonchalantly.
"Hmm, but it made me stronger."
It seems that's the only good thing he got from it. Nahida took a deep breath before sitting down to meet his gaze.
"Killua, I won't say anything about it. I'm sure we have very different views on your childhood and what it did to you."
He stayed quiet, but he turned to look at her. His gaze told her he was seriously listening.
