Moving from Salem Witches' Institute in America was hard but I had to deal with it. I had to move away from my parents, for them being abusive, physically and mentally, wasn't a good upbringing. Their names were Mary Clearwater and Alexander Hellstrand, so I took after my dad's last name.
I had moved to London with my godfather, Sirius Black. With his help, I was going to attend one of the best schools in Scotland, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

"Quickly Raven, we don't have much time." Sirius gently pulled my arm towards a stone wall. I groaned as I tried to keep up with his pace.

"Sirius, you do know that is a wall?" He smirked playfully at my oblivious self, and I glared back in response. A wall? Really? That was pathetic.

"We are going to run through it." Sirius said, amusement dancing in his eyes. What? Since when do people run through walls? Sirius might be crazier than I thought because I'm definitely not running through a wall. Sirius pulled my arm and ran towards the wall before I could protest. I shut my eyes tightly until Sirius stopped me. I slowly opened my eyes to see a large red train with the words 'THE HOGWARTS EXPRESS' written in gold letters across the front. There were people crowding us, so we decided to move to the side.

"Here is you're ticket, don't loose it. I've sent your belongings to Hogwarts already. I've got to go, Albus is expecting me. Get there safe okay?" he said, worry and concern on his face. Damn, he was so over protective.

"Yes." I breath as he hugged me tightly.

"Okay, Good luck!" He said as he apparated most likely, to Hogwarts. I looked around and groaned. Shit.

There was heaps of people, they are all going to Hogwarts as far as I can see. I tried to get on the train without gaining any attention and succeeded. I walked down a couple of compartments, looking for an empty spot. I eventually found at the end and sat down. As I got settled, a knock on the sliding door caught my attention.

"H-Hey... I'm Gabriel, do you mind if I tag along with you?" He had short olive brown hair and green eyes, the color of emerald. He wore a nervous smile and he shuffled nervously as he asked. It was pretty clear that he didn't have many friends to hang out with.

"Hello! I'm Judith! Do you think I can tag along in this compartment too? The rest are all full!" A girl smiled widely from behind Gabriel and he jumps, clearly startled from the energetic girl.

"Raven, and yea sure." Gabriel looked at me and gave a small smile. We sat in silence until Judith broke it.

"Aren't you... Gabriel Lance? Oh, you were in my Charm's class in 5th year!" Judith exclaimed, pointing him. He looked to the side and nodded slowly.

"Yea... Nobody really notices me." He trailed off, a frown on his face. I felt sympathy for the poor boy, but I didn't show it. As Judith was about to say something, the train started and off we went.

"Tell that to all the girls that were drooling over you last year." Judith continued, a mischievous smirk on her face. He raised an eyebrow and folded his arms. I laughed silently as they both began to talk about what was happening last year. It was nice to know they knew each other. I avoided talking, only answering when they asked questions. The two spoke regularly while I kept to my thoughts.
I realized something as they were talking.

"Aye, can one of you escort me to the Albus Dumbledore's office when we get off?" They both looked at me and Judith smiles warmly. "I will, what do you need with him anyway?" She asked diverting the attention to me. I shrugged and she giggled. With that, she turned her attention back to Gabriel.

After the train ride, I followed Judith and Gabriel to some carriages pulled but dark horse-like figures. "What are these?" I said, patting it and examining it.

"What? There is nothing there." Gabriel said confused.

"They are called Thestrals. Not many can see them. You can only see them if you have seen somebody die." Judith whispered. One name came to mind and I felt my heart shatter.

Henry

Henry was my older brother, he was 18 when he died. He meant so much to me and my parents and after his death, my parents blamed me. Hell, I blamed myself too. He died because of me and I watched him die.

Henry was their dream child while I was the mutation of there offspring. My parents wanted me to be more like him, but I couldn't be exactly like him, no matter what, I couldn't. I was a disgrace to the Hellstrand name, they were strong wizards from what I heard. They hated me and I hated them right back.

I was glad that Sirius took me out of that hellhole I used to call 'home'.
