I tried my best to catch up with the man that was basically dressed as shadow. What was his name again? Severus?

"Can you slow down?" I groan as the man swiftly turned a corner, causing me to almost fall and embarrass myself.

"No, just hurry up, Ms. Hellstrand!" His silky voice made me shocked for a moment, how can this angry man have such an attractive voice!? I didn't ignore the fact that he yelled at me and didn't slow down at all.

"Bastard." I mumbled trying not to let him hear, glaring at his back. He turned to a complete stop and turned around causing me to hit right smack bang into his chest, I stood my ground though. He wore an angry expression and he clearly did not want to be escorting some pathetic new student to the Great Hall.

"If I'm such a bastard, then why am I escorting you to the Great Hall?" He said through his gritted teeth. I could tell he was holding back his anger, I wonder why the old fart was angry. It's not like I did anything wrong! Or did I?

I shrugged and glared at him. "I didn't ask to be escorted." I simply said, a smirk playing on my lips. A low growl came from him. He turned around and walked away, his black robe billowing behind him in an aggressive manner.

"Very well then. Go ahead and find your own way to the Great Hall." He sneered from across the corridor and walked away leaving me alone in an empty hallway. I began to laugh, knowing I pissed off the angry man, but I realized something...

I don't know where the Great Hall is.

I mentally cursed myself for being idiotic and began to mindlessly walk around the halls. Nothing was found, but a few rooms that were clearly not the Great Hall. I sunk to the cold stone floor in a empty hallway, trying to think of a way to get out of this situation. I decided to just wait it out, somebodys ought to find me, right...?

I pulled out my wand. "Lumos." I say quietly as it began to get dark.

What was I to do?

"That stupid old git left me here alone and oblivious to the layout of the castle! I couldn't just roam around cluelessly! I might get even more lost! What an arse!" I ranted, feeling anger surge through me. I was talking to nobody particular, I just felt the need too. I had the worst possible temper.

"Raven...? Is that you?" A familiar voice called out, light erupted from their wand as I caught the sight of curly black hair and blue robes. It was Judith.

"Oh, thank god its you Raven!" She pulled me up to my feet and she shook my shoulder.

"Where were you?! Dinner is almost over!" She shrieked and I glared at her, a frown on my lips.

"Some old git was supposed to escort me to the Great Hall, but he abandoned me." I mumbled as I shuffled nervously.

"Professor Snape?" She asks and I shrug. Funny that she figured that out with only the words 'old git'.

She shook her head and started to pull me away.

"Let's go grab you something to eat before dinner ends." She said in a motherly manner and I scoffed. As she walked down the corridor, she glanced at me from the corner of her eye.

"So, you are Slytherin...?" She asks cautiously. I nodded my head slowly and flipped my hair back. She was hesitant once I nodded.

"Is that a bad thing?" I ask as she pushes me into, I assume, the Great Hall. There were four tables, all for the four houses. We stood at the doorway, not walking to our tables yet.

She pulled me aside into the shadows. "Look, Slytherins are bad news. They only accept pure bloods. Once graduated from Hogwarts, they usually turn into a Death Eater, or that's what rumours say. " She whispered, not trying to gain anyone's attention.
