"Raven? Earth to Raven!" Gabriel waved his hand in my face and I quickly snapped back to reality. I looked up slowly to see Judith and Gabriel looking at me with concerned expressions. We were at Breakfast in the Great Hall.
"What?" I ask, giving them a clueless expression. Judith giggled and I tilted my head.
"We were talking, but you completed went to a different world..." Gabriel laughed.
"What were you thinking of? Or were you in the land of pixies?" Judith mused, making my cheeks warm up.
I put my head in my hands and groaned. I was exhausted... I didn't sleep much last night... I was watching Severus sleeping, he seemed so peaceful when he slept.
It was even more difficult when I had to sneak out of chambers. He was holding on to me so tightly, I had to wriggle out of his grasp. Even when I did get out, I had to get out the door, which seemed difficult for a small pup like me... and I had paws. I eventually did sneak out... hopefully he didn't seem sad that I left him in the middle of the night.
"Sorry... I didn't sleep much last night." I mumbled, lifting my head slightly. Judith grabbed onto my shoulders and gave a supportive smile. Gabriel simply grabbed a piece of toast and offered it to me.
I hesitantly took it and took a small bite out of it. Gabriel smiled at me and turned back to his plate of food.
This would be really good with some coffee, I thought.
As I thought this, a white mug appeared in front of me. Judith seemed to be talking to some other girls, while Gabriel was simply stuffing his food in his mouth. They didn't seem to notice what just happened.
I looked around questioningly. Nobody was really paying attention to me... So who...?
My gaze went towards to the High Table where the teachers sat. Everyone seemed to be talking or occupied... I looked at Dumbledore. He looked at me with a small smile and winked. His eyes gave that mysterious twinkle as if he knew something that I didn't.
I returned the smile and raised the white mug slightly. He nodded in approval and turned away. He read my mind... Is he a Legilimens, just like Severus?
I sipped the warm coffee and smirked. I haven't had a good coffee in a while. Sirius never really made good coffee, tasted like water mixed with some kind of cheap coffee mix, which was probably was that.
I slowly looked up to the High Table, looking for Severus. He was staring at me too, I knew I felt somebody staring at me. I quickly looked away and set the coffee mug down. Why the hell is he staring at me?
"Well, if you excuse me, I'm going to the bathroom." I lied, standing up quickly. Judith gave a questioning look and I simply gave her a fake smile. She nodded slowly before turning back to Gabriel.
I rushed out the Great Hall and began to make my way outside. I needed some air. There was too many people in the Great Hall, I couldn't handle it. I felt like everyone was secretly judging me. It was a terrible thing I always did when I was in a big crowd.
As I turned a corner, I ran into somebody. It wasn't a hard impact, so I simply stepped back slightly. I looked up to see Dumbledore smiling warmly at me.
"Hello Headmaster, how are you?" I gave a soft smile. Dumbledore's eyes twinkled and he returned the smile.
"I'm fine. You?" He asks, amusement dancing in his eyes. I sighed and simply shrugged. "Not entirely sure, sir." I confessed and he nodded slowly.
"Follow me." Dumbledore began to walk down a corridor, he was leading me to his office if I recall the directions correctly. I had no idea what he wanted with me, but I guess I'll follow since... he's Dumbledore... What else are you going to do?
