Severus' POV:

I sat in my private chambers, reading a book in front of the warm fire place. I was pretty pissed to find the Hellstrand girl not at detention tonight, it was her last one, but yet she didn't appear. Not much of an interesting book, but I needed something to distract myself other than go find Fern. I hate to admit it, but I had to listen to the Hellstrand on this...

Plus, the past few weeks of Hogwarts have been killing me. Idiotic students not making the potions correctly. Then, there's that Hellstrand girl who keeps annoying the hell out of me, plus... she has a secret and I'm dying to know what it is... insolent brat...

I felt a pang of guilt as I said that. Why? Why do I feel guilty when I insult this girl? It doesn't happen when I insult other students. So... why her?

I heard somebody banging on the walls. "Professor Snape?! Professor Snape, open up!" It was the voice of a student... Judith Evergreen, if I recall from my classes. How does she know where my chambers are?

I groaned and slammed my book down. I flicked my hand, the wall opened up on command. There stood Judith Evergreen, a panicked look on her face. I stood there, tapping my foot impatiently.

"Care to tell why you're banging on my private chambers at nearly midnight?" I ask, crossing my arms and looking down at the foolish girl.

She pulled a small figure over... Raven Hellstrand. She seemed in a daze and she had a blind fold on. I stiffened at her sight and glared at Evergreen. "What happened?" I asked, motioning them to come inside.

Evergreen gently set Raven in front of the fire and turned to me. "Heyyy... Where's Severus? Judiiii... give me my Severussss!" Raven whined, grabbing onto Evergreen's pants leg. I quirked an eyebrow and gave Evergreen a confused look.

"Sir, somebody used a love potion on Raven! I-I don't know what to do! I found her in her dorms like this, I have no idea how it happened... All I found was this." She pulled out some wrappers from her pocket. That explains why she has a blind fold on...

Damn, that foolish girl! She just ate randomly found candy in her dorms, no letter to confirm where it came from?

"And why is she saying my name...?" I ask, glancing over to Raven. She now stood in front of the fire, staring at it intently, if that's possible with the blind fold on. She began to giggle and I let out an annoyed sigh.

Evergreen bit her lip and averted eye contact. "I think she was doing the Potions Homework and she saw your name. I'm not sure... do you have a potion that can cure her?" She asked quickly, running her hand through her hair.

I glared at her and pointing to the chamber door. "Go. I'll take care her. I'll return her to her dorms when I'm finished." I growled angrily. Of course! I have to deal with ridiculous students!

Evergreen nodded slowly and rushed out my chambers.

"Sev..." I froze and looked over to Raven, who seemed to be grimacing. "I mean Severus! I'm sorry, I forgot she called you that!" Raven whimpered as she tried to untie the blind fold. She continued to apologize.

She knew about Lily? Who would have told her though? It couldn't have been Albus... but it could have been Fern... Damn it Fern... I knew I shouldn't have gave out personal information about myself to a random wolf pup in the Forbidden Forest... Idiot.
