As the Kangs  visit our home to offer their condolences and support during this trying time, I can't help but feel a sense of gratitude mixed with apprehension. The recent turmoil surrounding Chanel has left our family reeling, and the prospect of merging our companies seems like an unattainable dream in the face of such adversity.

As we sit down to discuss the situation, I steel myself for the difficult conversation that lies ahead. It's clear that Y/N's parents have come with a purpose, and I know that I must broach the topic of marriage delicately, yet with conviction.

Thank you for coming Mr. and Mrs. Kang, Your support means a great deal to us during this difficult time.

They nod in acknowledgment, their expressions reflecting a mix of sympathy and concern. I take a moment to gather my thoughts before plunging into the heart of the matter.

As you know, Chanel is facing unprecedented challenges, and we are exploring every possible avenue to ensure its survival, It occurred to me that a merger between our companies could be mutually beneficial, not only from a business standpoint but also from a personal one.

I pause, allowing the implications of my words to sink in before continuing. 

I understand that this may seem sudden, but I believe that a union between our families, through the marriage of our children, could strengthen our companies' positions and bring us closer together as allies and partners.

I watch closely as Mr. Kang absorb my proposal, their expressions betraying a mix of surprise and intrigue. It's clear that they hadn't anticipated such a suggestion, but I can see the wheels turning in their minds as they consider the potential benefits of such a union.

I understand that this is a lot to take in, But I truly believe that by joining forces, we can overcome the challenges that lie ahead and ensure a prosperous future for both our families and our companies.

There's a moment of silence as we each contemplate the weight of my proposal, the implications of which hang heavy in the air. I exchange a glance with my wife, silently conveying the depth of my conviction in the path forward.

After a moment, Mr. Kang breaks the silence, his expressions thoughtful yet resolute.

I nod in gratitude, a sense of relief washing over me at their openness to my proposal. Though the road ahead may be fraught with uncertainty, I am confident that by working together, we can navigate the challenges that lie ahead and emerge stronger, both personally and professionally.

Mrs. Kang's POV

As I sit across from Jennie's mother, Dara, a sense of excitement and anticipation fills the air, mingling with the weight of the proposal we are about to discuss. It's been a long time coming, this conversation about the potential union of our families through marriage, and I can't help but feel a surge of emotion at the prospect of finally seeing it come to fruition.
