Y/N's POV

As I woke up to find Jennie missing from our bed, a sense of unease settled over me like a heavy blanket.

Where could she have gone without telling me?

I checked the time on my phone, noting that it was already 10 am. Frowning, I rose from the bed and began my search, starting with the bathroom.

No sign of Jennie.

I moved on to the kitchen, scanning every corner in the hopes of finding her there. Still, she was nowhere to be found. Panic began to bubble within me as I combed through every room in the house, my heart pounding with each passing moment.

Jennie was missing, and I had no idea where she could be.

With a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach, I decided to call her phone, hoping for some explanation. But there was no answer, only the hollow sound of silence on the other end.

Frustrated and worried, I dialed Rose's number next, desperate for any information about Jennie's whereabouts. Rose's voice sounded weak and tired as she explained that she hadn't been to the office, as she was unwell herself. Disappointment washed over me as I hung up the phone, promising to visit Rose later in the day.

Turning to Jungkook for answers, I called him next, hoping he might shed some light on the situation. His confirmation that Jennie was indeed at the office only added to my confusion.

Why hadn't she told me about her plans?

As I got ready for work, my mind raced with unanswered questions, the worry gnawing at me like a persistent itch. But despite my concerns, I knew that I had to push them aside for now and focus on the tasks at hand. Still, the lingering mystery of Jennie's sudden disappearance weighed heavily on my mind, casting a shadow over what should have been a normal day.

As I stepped into the Kang's building, a sense of determination mingled with concern propelled me forward. I made my way to Jennie's Chanel office, hoping to catch a glimpse of her amidst the flurry of activity that undoubtedly surrounded her.

Inside, I found myself face to face with Lia, Jennie's ever-efficient secretary. With a forced smile, I approached her desk, my heart pounding in anticipation as I inquired about Jennie's whereabouts.

Lia, do you know where Jennie is?

I asked, trying to keep my voice steady despite the knot of worry tightening in my chest. Lia's response was swift and to the point, her words ringing with a sense of urgency that mirrored my own.

Ms. Kang, Good morning, Mrs. Kang has been busy with work all morning, in meetings due to the high demand,

she explained, her tone tinged with a hint of apology. I nodded, a pang of disappointment gnawing at me as I realized that Jennie's absence was not a mere oversight but rather a reflection of the demands placed upon her by her work.
