Jennie's POV

As the days passed and Y/N transitioned from the ICU to a normal ward, our bond grew stronger, albeit slowly. I found myself spending almost every waking moment by Y/N's side, tending to her every need with care and patience. Whether it was helping her eat, assisting her with simple tasks, or just being there to provide comfort and support, I was determined to do whatever it took to help Y/N heal.

But as our bond deepened, so did the scrutiny from the outside world. News of the accident and Y/N's memory loss spread like wildfire, making headlines across the globe. Suddenly, our private struggles were laid bare for all to see, and the world had plenty to say about it.

The media frenzy was relentless, with netizens dissecting every aspect of our lives and casting judgment from behind their screens. I became the target of their ire, blamed for Y/N's memory loss as if it were something I had control over. Sympathy and hate flowed in equal measure, inundating me with a flood of emotions that threatened to overwhelm me.

But through it all, I refused to let the negativity consume me. I knew that my focus needed to be on Y/N's recovery, not on the opinions of strangers. I brushed off the hateful comments and the hurtful speculation, choosing instead to channel my energy into caring for Y/N and helping her heal.

And despite the challenges we faced, I found solace in the small moments of progress. Whether it was a smile from Y/N or a glimpse of recognition in her eyes, each step forward filled me with hope and renewed determination. I refused to let the outside world dictate our happiness, clinging to the love that bound us together as we navigated this difficult journey hand in hand.

Watching Y/N take those first tentative steps felt like witnessing a miracle. Each baby step, each moment of effort, filled me with a mixture of hope and anxiety. I sat on the couch, my eyes fixed on her as she focused on putting one foot in front of the other, guided by the supportive hands of the doctors.

My heart pounded in my chest, every step she took bringing her closer to me. I could see the determination in her eyes, the same determination that had always been a part of who she was. Despite the memory loss, despite the pain and confusion, Y/N was still fighting, still striving to overcome the obstacles that had been thrown in her path.

When she finally reached me, her hands gently gripping my shoulders for support, my heart swelled with emotion. The warmth of her touch, the proximity of her body, it all felt so familiar and yet so new. Her breath was slightly labored from the effort, her eyes searching mine as if seeking reassurance.

Jennie..

she whispered, her voice soft but filled with the weight of her struggle. She leaned into me, her forehead resting against mine, and I could feel her trembling slightly. My arms instinctively wrapped around her, offering the stability and comfort she needed.

I'm here..

I murmured, my voice choked with emotion.

I'm always here for you.

Her closeness, the way she leaned on me, made my heart race. I could feel the love I had for her bubbling up, mingling with the sadness and frustration of our current reality. She might not remember everything, but this moment, this connection, was real and tangible.

You did so well,

I whispered, trying to hold back the tears.

I'm so proud of you, Y/N.
