Santorini, Greece

11:00 pm

Jennie's POV

Santorini, the island transformed into a magical realm illuminated by the soft light of a thousand stars. The air was alive with the gentle hum of cicadas and the distant sound of waves crashing against the shore, creating a serene backdrop for the enchanting night ahead.

Y/N's thoughtful gesture of waking me up early to ensure I had time to freshen up didn't go unnoticed, and I couldn't help but feel grateful for her considerate nature. As we were greeted with orchid garlands by the welcoming staff at the airport, I couldn't suppress the flutter of excitement that bubbled up within me.

Y/N wasted no time in informing our parents of our safe arrival, her voice filled with warmth and reassurance as she spoke to them over the phone.

The ride to the luxurious five-star hotel was a blur of activity, with Y/N taking charge and making all the necessary arrangements for our stay. While she conversed with the staff and finalized the details of our itinerary for the next day, I couldn't help but feel a sense of detachment from the excitement around me.

As we were welcomed with garlands once again upon our arrival at the hotel, I offered a polite smile and a word of thanks, but my mind was elsewhere. Despite the luxurious surroundings and the warm hospitality of the staff, I couldn't shake the lingering sense of unease that gnawed at the edges of my consciousness.

But as Y/N was handed the keys to our room and the staff wished us a happy honeymoon night, I forced a smile and followed her lead.

As I wandered through the spacious suite, admiring its opulent decor and luxurious amenities, a sense of unease gnawed at the edges of my consciousness. Despite the grandeur that surrounded me, I couldn't shake the feeling of disquiet that settled in the pit of my stomach.

My gaze fell upon the bedroom, where the bed was adorned with rose petals and the air was thick with the scent of seductive candles. A pang of discomfort shot through me at the realization that this room had been prepared for our honeymoon.

But how could I embark on a honeymoon with someone I didn't love?

Y/N's voice broke through my thoughts, drawing me back to the present moment. She mentioned something about taking a bath and getting some rest, but I barely registered her words as my mind whirled with conflicting emotions.

As Y/N left for the bathroom, I remained in the living room, my thoughts in turmoil. Searching through my luggage for a charger, my hand brushed against Y/N's phone lying on the table. With a curious glance, I noticed an incoming call from Jungkook.

A small smile tugged at the corners of my lips as I picked up the phone, feeling a sense of familiarity wash over me at the sight of his name. Despite the tension that simmered between us in recent days, Jungkook had always been a source of comfort and support for me.
