Lonely eyes

Chapter 6

Once we had pulled into the parking lot of our school, Alex had to run to met up with Jess and Kasy but gives me a hug and thanks for the ride before heading off.

I smile as I watch her jog off, my eyes don't leave her figure till she turns a corner where I can no longer see her. I shake my head at myself as I think, 'how does she do this to me? I've just met her but yet I never want to leave her side I want to know every inch of her hurt and every mile of her happiness and how to make that amazing smile stay stained upon those lips of her and..' I get pulled out of my daydream thoughts as Jason jumps on my back playfully as he says

"Sup bro!!" I laugh as we do our handshake that ends with a snap as I answer,

"Sup"

He smiles as he begins telling me about this party that's happening this weekend and how I should tag along, "you can even bring someone if you like bro." I nod, I've notice when we met and instantly became friends that he over uses the term "bro" a little too much but it didn't bother me.

"Yeah uh I'll let you know" I answer as we turn into the hallway where we split ways since we don't join classes till next. "Alright bro catch up with you later," we do our handshake and walk our separate ways.

I couldn't help the smile that comes across my lips as I walk into my first period and see Alex already in the class room sitting on top of one of her friends desk chatting away to the two girls that stood in front of her, once she had catches my stare with hers she waves me over as a smile, the real smile I know, lights up her face.

"This is Colton, he just moved here about three weeks ago he's pretty cool" she introduces me and sends me a smile over her shoulder as she says the last part.

I couldn't help but chuckle at her as I shake hands with the two girls that are now in front of me while Alex is now on my side, "hi I'm Kasy" the mediumly tall blonde girl with thick black nerdy glasses that cover her crystal blue eyes that are brightened by her nicely done make up says.

I smile as I release her hand and I say "nice to met you."

Next to Kasy is who I assume was Jess, she stood about an inch taller then Kasy with smooth natural black hair that fell the same length as Alex's brown hair, mid back, her brown eyes sparkled in the sunlight with the black and grey colors of make up surrounding her eyes, I think it's called the smokey eye make up? I don't know but it looked nice on her.

"Nice to met you sweet cheeks" she says with a wink, then laughs.

I furrow my eyes brows towards Alex as I say "uh you to" with a nervous chuckles but it quickly fades as Alex's giggles ring through my ears.

She hits my chest softly with the back of her hand as she says "don't worry she plays for your team" as she wiggles her eyebrows. My eyes widen as I glance toward her, "really?" I ask.

Jess answers with the nod of her head and a wicked grin. I bust up laughing as I pull her in a playful tight hug as I exaggerate saying "O M G that's totally awesome, but you better leave the hotter girls for me guurrl." All three of them burst up laughing as Jess wraps her arms around my torso while saying

"No promises there bud."

I smile as I let her go and casually drape my arm around Alex's shoulders and look down at her as in asking for permission she smiles and steps more into my hold making me smile more, if that was possible.

We chat for a few more minutes me Kasy and Jess hit it off great and become instant friends with one and another and I can tell Alex is glad we all get along, I wonder if we hadn't hit it off what it cause between mine and Alex's friendship.

I shrug off the thought since it wasn't the case and the bell rings signaling for us to all take our seats. Kasy and Jess sit in the two seats in front of Alex mine right beside her.

The class begins and Mrs. Martin starts writing away on the board of our assignments for the day. As I'm pulling out a piece of paper to take notes a little folded up paper flies onto my desk from Alex's direction, I look towards her with the paper between my fingers my facial expression asking what's this. She smiles widely and wiggles her eyes brows to edge me on to read it.

I sign playfully as I set my pencil and unfold the paper and begin to read what is written among the page.

"I know I just met you and this may be crazy and all but... I think I'm falling for you.."

I couldn't fight the smile from my lips if my life depended on it as I write underneath her beautiful hand writing,

"If this is crazy then let's make it insane cause sweetie... I feel the exact same way."

And pass it back to her.
