Lonely eyes

Chapter 25

Alex P.O.V

"Alex... Alex wake up." A deep raspy voice says while pushing my shoulder I open my eyes and find Gus hovering over me I shake it off rolling over going back to sleep my head foggy, again Gus pushing me wake, "what!" I snap opening my eyes seeing Jess laying next to me. Everything floods back into my mind remembering how me and Jess had sex, amazing sex that i should but don't feel bad for, and we were naked. No more sleepy I snap up pushing the blanket up over Jess and holding it over my chest, "what you need Gus." I whisper.

His eyes are red and filled with worry "we got to go please hurry up get her up and you two get dressed I'll be right out side the door hurry." My head hurts still foggy as I get frustrated not being able to think completely straight, I grab my brothers arm "where's Kasy?" "In the car, Alex I'm not leaving you again but I need you to hurry." He says seriously. I nod my head and he walks out the door closing it softly behind him, I could feel my heart beat in my ears with every pulse the more paranoid and worried I become.

I shake my head trying to clear my thought I shake Jess shoulder till her eyes flutter open, she smiles at me leaning up kissing me and I let her smiling back, why is none of this guilting me I think, I ignore it as I say "Jess we got to get up and go for some reason Gus is freaking out and I'm worried.." Her eyes get serious as she nods her head getting out of the bed. I suck my teeth as her hair falls from her neck she looks at me weird as she gets out of bed pulling her skirt up, "what baby girl?" She ask.

I climb out of the bed grabbing my panties pulling them on looking for my jeans as I explain, "uh I'd keep your hair over your neck if I was you, cause I mean I might have left three deep purple big hickeys on your neck." I attempt to smile innocently. Jess giggles as she slips her crop top back on handing me my shirt and bra while I slip my jeans back on.

"It's ok baby girl you've always been good with your hickeys but it's nothing compared to what I did to you.." She says biting her lip as she looks down my middle causing me to look also, I gasp as I see my right breast is almost completely purple and pink with hickeys with a following trail in a perfect straight line down the middle on my stomach. "Babe!" I gasp slapping her arm as she bring my converse to my feet she giggles kissing my temple causing me to smile and giggle also.

We follow Gus down the stairs our heads low as we rush ducking, dodging, and weaving through the crowd that scatters out in all directions, we reach out side with no words exchanged and we pile into the car. Gus in the drivers seat me in passenger and Jess in the back with the sleeping Kasy. As Gus puts the car in drive pulling away from the house and on to the road I ask "want to explain what happened back there?" He glances at me then back to the road, "Josh older brother came home and was pissed told josh if he didn't get everyone out in 30 minutes he was calling the cops and their parents." I nod my head placing my hand on his arm on the steering wheel he looks at me "thank you..." I say.

He stops at a red light looking at me asking "for?" "For not leaving me.. You could of easil.." I begin but he interrupts, "no Alex stop, I promised I wouldn't leave again please don't even finish that sentence.." My eyes water and I don't care if we're sitting in a car and the light about to turn green, I hug him. I hug him and I finally believe that he's not going anywhere ever again. He rubs my back as the light turns green illuminating the car I sit back in my seat.

Gus decided that it'd be best if we all crash at his house, his roommates out for the weekend so we won't be bothering. I lay on the couch not being able to sleep Kasy is in the spare bedroom and Jess is asleep on the floor next to me, Gus in his bedroom. I toss and turn but couldn't clear my mind I was beginning to go crazy so I sit up leaning my head back against the couch my legs crossed underneath me, I sit watching the blades of the fan spin drowning all the sounds around me out. "Alex?" I jump snapping back into reality, I look up to see who called my name "Gus?, what you doing up?"
