Lonely eyes

Alex P.O.V.

I sit on Luke's couch with my laptop on my lap, its Monday and Gus had to go to work and ever since the fight with my step mom where she cut me I've been doing online schooling, before Gus left i asked him to drop me off over here wanting company while doing school work plus me and Luke have been texting none stop since Saturday and he was begging to see me again so it all works out.

"so what made you decide to do online schooling?" Luke asks as he settles in beside me his laptop in hand as he sets it up, he has school work he needs to do also. "Uh well I was bullied as it was then stuff happened and I decided it just be best to just get away from it." I say as I make room for him on the couch by scooting over resting my arm on the arm rest, "hmm" Luke hums in his throat causing me to look up at him smiling he looks at me smiling back "what?" he asks with a chuckle I shake my head " Oh nothing you're just too adorable." I say while blushing a little. Luke doesn't say anything just stares at me over his laptop smiling he shakes his head and joins me, typing away on the laptop, doing his work while I do mine.

About an hour later I shut off my laptop done with my work for the day and stare at Luke while putting my Laptop and its charger away. Luke is staring intensively at his screen while typing away. He is quite adorable with that focused look on his face, drowning the world around him out. I wish I could do that.

Its when I sit back up when Luke looks up from his screen, he smiles sheepishly at me while asking, " How long have you been there just watching me?" I laugh and say " just a few minutes its cute how engulfed in your work you are, how you can just drown everything out and focus, I cant do that I need music to do that haha." I blush scratching the back of my neck. Luke types something else on this laptop then closes it setting it on the floor then grabs my waist pulling me to him, his legs are crossed in front of him as he pulls me on top of them.

I let him pull me close, wrapping my legs around his waist as my breathe hitches in my throat. A thousand times I have fantasied about stuff similar to this but now its happening I don't know what to do other then let my body comfortably wrap around his.

Luke smiles up at me rubbing his hands from my hips up my back and back down, his eyes slowly go down my chest and back up then sets his chin above my breasts looking up at me. I swallow and look down at him setting my forehead against his our lips inches apart, " hiya" I say softly looking in his eyes. He chuckles and says " hey beautiful." blush covers my cheeks making my face warm. Luke's smile widens as he pulls me closer to him laying his head on my chest saying " you're so god damn cute! Especially when you blush."

I pull myself closer to him wrapping my arms around his shoulders and hands in his hair hugging him close to me. After a while of just sitting like this in silence Luke says " I'm sorry.. if I pushed this so fast moved to fast or anything... I just really wanted to be this close to you." he drifts off and I lean back enough to pull his chin up so he's looking at me and say " hey, don't worry about it. I cant tell you how much I've just been waiting, hoping you'd pull me close... Luke I really like you" he smiles sitting up more so he's perfectly eye level with me and says, " good cause, Alexandria, i really like you to.."

I swallow and back up sliding down off his lap sitting cris crossed in front of him setting my hands in my lap as they begin to shake I look at them nervous with what I need to say. "Hey, what's wrong.." Luke asks pushing my hair back behind my ear I can feel him staring at me, I take in a shaky breathe in then sigh out and say "I don't want this to end and I don't want to lose a chance with someone like you.. Some one so sweet but..." I look up tears threating to spill over. Luke moves closer to me cupping my hands in his "hey it's ok." I nod my head "I just got out of a relationship.. And I'm broken I'm fragile.. I need this to go slow.." My voice shakes as I speak, his shoulders relax and a smile spreads across his mouth "oh sweetie that's nothing to be worried about, we can go as slow as you need we can just date no need to jump into anything let's just get to know each other see how things are you know? Alexandria I am in no rush and have no problems going slow. I like you I'll do anything you need beautiful." Luke says then presses a kiss to my cheek and wiping the tear that managed to escape.

I smile at him throwing my arms around his neck pulling him into a hug, I feel his cheeks rise as he smiles wrapping his arms around my back holding me close to him. "Thank you." I say nuzzling my face between his neck and shoulder, "of course sweet heart, anything for you." He says resting his chin in my shoulder and we sit there close and hugging.

I have never been so willing to open up to someone but I trust Luke and I trust me brother when he says that I can trust Luke, maybe this dating thing will work out...
