Alex P.O.V
------------------------------------------------------
After a hour or two of talking it was like times never changed, I missed my brother so much it was nice having him around again.

We sit around the dinner table with Colton and James we had a dinner together now we're all just sitting and talking about good times and how life's been. Everyone seems to be getting along quiet well and for the first time in a while Colton smiles and shows affection to me.

We all get up heading onto the back porch. Colton holds my hand with his arm around my waist as I sit on his lap, Gus stands smiling on the other side of me as James leans his back against the porch railing a beer in his hand.

"Hey Alex remember that one summer we all went up to the cliffs and you swore up and down that you were ready for the rope swing but got scared half way through it so you were just hanging there crying on the rope swing." Gus laughs at my side, I lean my head back against Colton's chest laughing, "yes! Haha you had to get in the water and catch me for me to even let go." Gus holds his stomach while laughing I smile up at Colton who's already looking at me returning the smile then leans in giving me a sweet small kiss on the lips. Once we part I smile wider at him before snuggling more into his chest and go back to listening to James and Gus discussion of the time James was 8 and got his foot stuck in the rope swing and hung upside down for 30 minutes before somebody finally got him down.

I reach into my pocket grabbing my pack of cigarettes as Colton does the same shifting my weight to his other leg as he grabs his pack. I light it then hand my lighter to Colton and exhale, I notice Gus smiling down at me shaking his head.

"What?" I ask. Getting my lighter back from Colton sliding everything back into my pocket.

"Never guessed I'd be here watching you smoke cigarettes miss goody two shoes. Definitely not use to having a 16 year old sister." He chuckles

I giggle slapping his arm, "I'm not miss goody two shoes ass hat!"

Gus mischievous look played across his face and my eyes widen as I coward away in Colton's arms causing him to chuckle.

"What did you call me?" Gus says coming closer as I bring my legs up in some weird failed attempt of a karate move. This causes everyone to burst up laughing as I stammer, "n-nothing! I love you bubba."

He chuckles and I go back to sitting like a normal person in Colton's lap as Gus Ruffles my hair "mhm that's what I thought" he chuckles again, "and love you to sis."

I finish my cigarette the last of me Colton and James, I'm a slow smoker. We all head inside settling in the living room. Another 30 minutes went by with chatter and laughter filling the house, when Gus stands up stretching then saying "well I better get going.." My smile falls and my heart rate picks up. Colton notices squeezing my hand reassuring me, I guess Gus noticed too cause he crotched down beside me as I was laying on Colton's lap on the living room floor.

"Hey," he smiles down at me ruffling my hair then smoothing it "I'm not going anywhere sis, just got to get home, I have roommates who will destroy the place if I don't get back ok? I'll be back over here tomorrow morning. I promise." I smile nodding then sitting up and giving him a hug before exchanging numbers and seeing him off.

I click my phone to check the time "God damn." I mumble but Colton catches it asking "what?"

"It's 12:45pm." I answer yawning.

Colton smiles getting off the floor saying good night to James then takes my hand and we walk up the stairs into our room, we change into our sleeping clothes and cuddle up close under the covers. I smile in my sleepy state as I say "hmm today was good." I feel Colton's cheek rise with a smile as he kisses the top of my head "yah it was." He says.

"I've missed you.." I say snuggling my face up against his chest, "I know I'm sorry.." He whispers then wraps his arms around my body holding me close and tight to him.

"It's ok." I say soft and slow a smile played across my mouth as I drift off into a blissful sleep.
