Vampire Aves...
"What is your name?" Alex asked looking down at the girl that was staring at the floor
"Katherine" she replied in a small voice ."Look up" he said with a small frown and she did.
She had Long black hair that stopped at her lower back, and bright emerald green eyes, her face was moldy probably from the slave house and she was wearing a cream colored dress that was also moldy.
Alex scrunched his nose a bit before speaking "how old are you?" She thought for a while before replying...
"nine" she said staring up at him he was only a few inches taller than her they were about the same height.
"Well, I am older than you" he pointed out "I am eleven, my name is Alexander and I am your master now" he said and she nodded quickly.
"Follow me" he said and she followed,they made their way into the mansion and she stared with wide eyes catching everything little details in the mansion.
"Beautiful" she whispered to herself
"Silvia" Alex called a maid that rushed over quickly,she stared at the little human in confusion... there was no human in the De'vera mansion,
Yes they were slaves but they were low class supernaturals that did not possess any special abilities except strength, she bowed a bit.
"Take her to the bath and find her a new clothing" he said pointing at Katherine that was still looking around while standing behind Alex.
"Yes ,young master" Silvia bowed as Alex left "come here" she said and Katherine walked towards her "what is your name?" Silvia asked "Katherine" she replied
"I am Silvia" she smiled taking her hand,they head to the servant headquarters and into the bath house were she helped her take her bath.
Katherine sat in the bath her hair wet as Silvia scrubbed it with the soap "I am nine years old" Katherine answered playing with the bubbles "you are a big girl" Silvia smiled and Katherine nodded.
Silvia is a vampire from Almore after being cast out by her family she had nowhere to go until she met Allan (Alex's father) he took her in and she worked with them since then.
"Where are your parents?"
Silvia asked admiring the girl's luscious hair "I do not know" she replied "we were together and then when I woke up ,they were gone" she said quietly.
"Oh.."Silvia said.....
Silvia knew how the slave house worked, it is either her own parents had sold her to the slave house or someone else took her.
She noticed the necklace she was wearing "Did your parents give you this?" She asked looking at the necklace that had a purple glowy pendant,it looked very expensive.
"I do not know I have always had it" she said "it is pretty" "thank you" Katherine beamed .
After sometime*
After the bath, Silvia brushed her hair and put a light pink dress on her, they both went back to the mansion,Alex was waiting outside.
"I am clean now" Katherine beamed and Silvia left. "Good come with me, I will show you something" he said and she hurried after him.
They went further into the forest and approached a shelter, a huge egg was sitting in the shelter as big as a human head "*gasp*it is so bigg" she bent to touch the egg and he only stared at her.
'she has nice eyes...'
"Alex?" Katherine called looking at him,he frowned at the name but did not complain.
"What egg is this?" she asked "I do not know but I think it is a dragon egg" he said and she just nodded.
"We should head back" he said and Katherine got up straightening her dress,they head back to the mansion.
In the mansion*
Katherine (or Katie) And Alex walked in,and Isabella looked at them.
"Is this Katherine?"
Isabella asked rushing towards the girl that only looked confused and Alex pulled her back glaring at his sister.
Isabella ignored him and pulled the girl from him "you are just as pretty as mother described".
Isabella gushed over the nine year old "such pretty eyes" she said kneeling to Katherine's height
"That is not a lady-like behavior now is it?" Alex said pulling Katherine away again then towards the stairs.
"That is my sister stay away from her, she drinks blood" he mumbled to Katherine that nodded "I heard you! Stop speaking like you do not, you-".
Alex got to his room and shut the door "Forgot they were still here" he mumbled "Who?" Katie asked.
"My cousins......stay away from them too they drink blood" he said and Katherine looked around the big room "Are you not a vampire too?" She mumbled but he heard and spoke
"Yes,are you scared?" He stared intently at her "No" she said staring at the window "you have been nice to me" she smiled and he flinched hearing the word 'nice' he has never been described with that word.
"You will stay in this room with me " he said lifting the curtains "alright" Katie replied.
Alex went into the bathroom while Katherine looked around the big room, she soon settled on the floor next to the bed , waiting for Alex to come out.....soon he did.
"why are you on the floor ?" He asked.
"I wanted to sit" she said and got up "you could have sat on the chair or the bed" he said going to the shelf to pick a book
"They said we are not allowed on furniture" she said "who?" Alex asked "The man at the...slave house" she replied like it was obvious.
"They also said to address our owner as master" she added watching Alex move around the room.
"But I can call you Alex right?" she asked hopefully and he finally stopped to look at her before shrugging and she beamed.
He dropped a huge book on the bed
"You know everyone here is not human?" She nodded, he sat on the bed and opened the book "Sit" he said and she climbed on "I will teach you about creatures here..."
"There are two types of vampires, normal vampires and the pure blood vampires, you will recognize them by their eye color, a normal vampire eyes are light red,and pure blood vampires have a deep shade of red" he said
"like yours?" She asked and he nodded
"There are werewolves too....they are just dogs but bigger" he snickered to himself, she nodded thoughtfully "what about their eye color?" She asked
"Usually, lavender, blue, gold ,brown...any color out there except red" he said and stared at her eyes "-and green" he mumbled....
"The witches are....witches,they can be good or bad, the bad witches are always awful looking you can easily tell when you see one, but a good witch usually have blue or purple eyes"..
"And the ghouls...... Eyes are just black ....and reapers don't have eyes just holes" he said and Katie stared at him with wide eyes .
"What about my eyes?"she asked
"No creature in the underworld have green eyes" he stated simply.
"Maybe it is just for humans then" Katie said
he stared at her "maybe..."
They went back to reading about creatures...
End of chapter four guys, this is the longest I have ever written,I'm not sure if I'll be updating again today since it's late but I might..
