Vampire Aves..
Katherine woke up and looked around, she got up.....looking out the window it was midnight, she held her dress and exited her room.
She wondered if Isabella was awake she exited the inn and the deep dark forest came into view, she took a step towards the forest.....and heard a voice.
'you should not' she heard and paused looking around wondering who had just spoken, she could not make out if it was a male voice or a female voice.
she heard noises in the forest she was about to walk into and that was enough to scare her as she turned back....only to stop.
The inn was gone, she could only see deep forest behind her, it was dark and eerie.
She heard a haggard voice and turned quickly she was scared, the voice was gone,
She breathed heavily holding her dress 'run' she heard and looked around again her eyes already stinging with tears 'run'... the voice got louder...
'run!'
'run!!'
'Run!' 'RUN!' 'RUN!!" The voice got louder seeming less human-like by the second..
She started running into the forest with tears streaming down her eyes, she had never been more scared,
she ran huffing loudly and she stopped to catch her breath before bending hands on her knees,she looked up and her eyes met that of another creature's she screamed...
"Katie!" She heard and woke up breathing heavily "breathe, Katherine" Isabella stared at her worried as her breathing started to even up.
"Are you alright?" She asked and Katie nodded frantically "Are you certain?" She asked again and Katie nodded more calmly with a small smile "It was just a nightmare".
"Alright then,come out for breakfast so we can set off on our journey"
They are breakfast and set off on their journey back to vampire Aves, Isabella noticed Katherine's odd behavior throughout the ride back home.
She was acting very paranoid,she knew something was wrong but she did not pressure Katherine into telling her.
They arrived back to the mansion after 3 days and Katherine wrote another letter to Alex, she still did not get a reply.
She got more acquainted with Charles and would sometimes go to visit him and he would do the same.
Katherine write a letter again not expecting a reply but she thought she could try, she of course did not get a reply and she gave up.
Katherine would wake up with a nightmare after another,they all seemed similar but in different places and situations...the nightmares were very lucid.
4 years later....
"Where have you been?" Katherine asked the dragon that huffed on her face she frowned closing her eyes "Trevor, I said not to do that" she whined stroking it's chin.
Her emerald eyes glistened because of the ray of sun that came through the trees in the forest.
She had her hair held up but it still stood at an impressive length almost reaching her knee.
"Katie!, Katherine!, Come over here" she heard Uriel call for her "I am coming!" She yelled back glancing at the huge dragon one more time before holding her dress to run out of the forest.
She spotted Uriel standing outside both hands on her hips as she frowned at Katherine "Why do you keep going into the forest?" She said with a sigh.
"No reason" Katherine smiled and ran past her into the mansion.
"Do you know where Isabella is?" she turned into the mansion and asked Katherine "She should be in her room" she said stopping on her tracks.
"She is not in her room" she said "The forecasters have spoken, there will be a storm today and through out the week" she mumbled worried, wondering where her daughter went off to.
"I will go find her-" Katherine turned to leave the mansion only to be stopped by Uriel "No, I do not want to start looking for you too" she said and went away heading towards her room.
Katherine went up to Isabella's room and she saw the older girl climbing into her room through the window and she just stared.
"Finally,I can- ahh!" Isabella screamed seeing Katherine in her room "Did you just climb in through the window?" Katie asked mouth agape as she walked past Isabella to the window to see a rope dangling down the ridiculously tall mansion.
"How did you even do that?!" Katie yelled and Isabella smirked "vampire abilities" Katherine jokingly rolled her eyes and sat on the bed.
"So....Adrian is in town again?" Katherine asked and Isabella nodded with a little tint of red on her cheeks, adding a bit color to her pale face, that was enough of an answer for Kathrine as she teased the 23 year old that blushed even more.
Isabella and Aiden have been having an affair secretly for over for almost 8 years that only Katherine knows about.
Isabella knew she will be in trouble if her parents found out, not that her father would care but she would get an earful of scolding from her mother.
"Yes,he is " she said in a small voice..
"Anyways, did mother tell you?" She asked "Tell me what ?" Katherine asked "That Alex will be arriving in a few days" she added and Katherine sat there just blinking.
"Really?" She asked in a very high pitched voice "Yes, really Are you excited?" Isabella asked.
"Nervous,yes....it has been six years" Katherine mumbled. "I am sure he must have missed you greatly" Isabella said and Katherine only smiled.
She missed Alex more than he could ever imagine and she could not wait to see him, she felt like she could cry.
"But the problem is the storm, that will delay his journey, so mother said he will be here in about 5 days" Isabella said and Katherine sat up straight "Fi-five days?" She stuttered out.
"Yes" Isabella said "that is so soon" Katherine squeaked out ,she could not even imagine how the boy will look like.
Will she be able to recognize him?
Will he recognize her?
Did he grow taller?
Did his attitude change?
Katherine let her mind run wild.
She left Isabella's room to Alex and her's shared room, she sat down staring out the window.
The forecasters were right the weather has changed drastically, the clouds were the deepest shade of grey and it will light up each second because of the lightning.
Katherine personally does not fancy the storms they scared her for a reasonable reason, most of her nightmare involved storms and loud thunder clapping that terrifies her. She loathed it.
Katherine took a shower and changed into a night dress, she shut the windows and kept the candle lit.
She got under the covers hugging herself, she stared at the wall bracing herself for another nightmare but sleeping will make the days pass by faster.
Closing her eyes she slept off into the land of nightmares once again....
End of chapter fourteen,I know I have not been updating well...I have been Soo busy doing nothing....I just felt lazy for real..
