Council building, Elmore... vampire Aves...

Katie's POV

We exited the building and we were about to get into the carriage untill...."councilman De'vera" we heard and turned around.

It was (William) the young master from the Carmichael family and councilman Tyler,

"We have not spoken about how we will get to spellvania, should we meet up-" William was cut off by Alex.

"I have my means of transportation" He said and turned only to be stopped again."we need to move together,it will be easier" Tyler said .

Alex grumbled under his breath about wanting to go alone. "We will meet here in two days at dawn" he said and they nodded, he turned again while I waited to greet Tyler.

"How have you been, milady" "I have been great ,how about-" I almost yelled when Alex pulled me ,he pulled me into carriage.

I huffed as I sat down snatching my wrist from him. I sat on the extreme end of the carriage while looking out the window.

The ride was silent, I would glance at Alex every now and then, he was staring out the window too.

Soon we got to the mansion, I got out of the carriage. Alex stayed "I am heading out" he said simply I watched without a reply as the carriage went off.

I watched the carriage disappear wondering what is wrong with him, I decided to sit outside the mansion for a while...maybe he will be back soon...

I sat down watching the bunnies hop around the garden it was a lovely sight....

I used to be obsessed with them, hopping after them when I was younger.... Untill Alex told me why the bunnies were here.

Now it is sad and disturbing.....

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I saw something from the corner of my eye .

I looked closer and I felt all the color drain from my face ,it was the hooded figure I saw earlier, it's clothes were ragged and torn.

Dark smoke oozed around the said creature and it was carrying a scythe ,it was all bones from head to toe, it's soulless eyes staring at me.

Before I knew it I was running into the mansion up to Isabella's room.. gaining looks from the workers.

I was breathing heavily as I entered Isabella's room.she was standing in front of her full length mirror staring at her stomach.

She turned to me ..

"Katie?,are you alright?"

I rushed to her breathing heavily. "Isa, t-there is s-some..." I took in a deep breath.

She placed both hands on my shoulders "calm down.... what happened?"

"I-i saw something outside" I said.

"What did you see?"she frowned

"It was a....i-some creature, come..." I pulled her to the window and we stared down.

There was nothing...

"I promise,it was there staring at me" I said hysterically hoping she believes me.

"Tell me what you saw Katherine, describe the..... creature"

"It was...it was all bones and it was wearing a robe a-and it was holding a weapon, it has this dark smoke around it..." I tried to remember more.

"A-are you certain that is what you saw?" She stuttered out looking bothered.

"Yes...." I nodded

She exhaled taking a step back.
