Elmore, Vampire Aves.

Katie's POV

I woke up the next morning my head leaning on something hard...I opened my eyes slowly.

My head was lying on Alex's chest,i did not move.His body was cold...I tried to listen for a heartbeat but there was none .it was total silence.i lie comfortably in that position untill...

"Are you done?" He suddenly spoke and I jolted up,I stared at him.

"Uh-good morning, young master"

He only hummed and got off the bed.

"I will get you something to eat before we leave" he informed and made his way outside, I shot up from my seat and followed him.

"I will go with you " I rushed out .

To be truthful,I was just scared to stay in the room alone.

I followed him down the stairs to the counter,there stood the man from yesterday....his head was leaning face down on the table asleep. I frowned slowly holding Alex's arm.

"D-did he not turn into ash yesterday" I asked Alex.

"That was not him,the witch killed him and took his form"

My eyes snapped back to the man....

"He's dead?"

Alex used his hand to pull the man's face up by his hair .his face was looking....dead with his eyes plain white.

I took in a deep shaky breath.

He lets go of the man and brought out a napkin to clean his hand and he dropped the napkin on the floor.

"No breakfast then" he mumbled and we turned to leave. I glanced at the dead man. Before running to meet up with Alex we went back to the room.

He washed his hand again.i sat down on the bed waiting.

He came out of the bathroom. "Why did you not apparate (teleport) us back yesterday" I asked .

"I need blood" he replied shortly.

How are we getting back today? He has not had blood since yesterday....

I held up my wrist "you can take my blood"

He stared at me like I was crazy......maybe I was.

He held my wrist staring intently at it .I closed my eyes waiting for the impact.

"That is not very smart" he spoke .

He held my hand higher....."look at you.....you will die if I take your blood"

"And we do not want that do we?" He asked, I shook my head quickly. He rolled down my sleeve and let go of my hand.

"We should leave now" "But-"

"Do not question me, Katherine" he spoke holding out his and and I took it. We appeared in his room though I was prepared it was still shocking.

Isabella probably does not know Alex possesses this ability.

"Go down for breakfast" he spoke ,I wondered how much of his energy that took since he said he did not drink blood his skin was looking more pale. He turned and went  into the bathroom again.

I watched him close the door and I got up.i left the room going down the stairs.

I saw the new lady and her daughter, Alex's father was not in sight. I wondered if I was supposed to greet.

"Greetings" I said and they looked up from their conversation .

"Oh,look who it is" the daughter spoke.
